Love is in the air. Literally. Because we can’t stop spritzing ourselves with the new Kenzo Amour I Love You, a flanker of the top-selling Amour.

Short story: I can’t imagine any girl (or guy, for that matter) not liking this. It’s what you’d call a crowd-pleaser.

Longer story … Look, it’s nothing majorly new. Think fruity-floral. It begins with juicy top notes (grapefruit, redcurrant), blooms into a sweet bouquet of a heart (rose, cherry blossom and lilac) and dries down to a soft muskiness.

But then, who honestly wants to smell new? If you did, you’d probably have to douse yourself in eau de rubber or something equally out-there.

Just as you might prefer a pretty frilly frock to an edgy fashion look, this is the perfume for you if you simply want to smell lovely.

Details: Kenzo Amour I Love You, an eau de toilette, is $80 (40ml) and available from Myer and David Jones.
