Video: Five Things I’m Loving This Week

After spending 9 months travelling around the world, I am home, Primpers. Hooray!

It’s good to be back in Sydney and brilliant to be back in the beauty cupboard, sourcing all the newest, latest, should-try products for all of you.

To kick off a new round of Five Things for 2012, I thought I’d start with an illuminator from Face of Australia; a tinted moisturiser from Olay; some seriously awesome facial towelettes from Yes To Blueberries; long-lasting eye shadows with built-in primers from COVERGIRL; and finally, the perfect orange nail polish shade from Becca.

    I rather like the sound of eyeshadows with built in primers…and I’ve had a look at the australis illuminator and I think it’s pretty good, it’d be a bit nicer if it came in better/smaller packaging though. The tester I picked up at BigW had the stuff oozing everywhere, which really put me off buying it.

    I LOVE orange polish, there’s something really summery and oh so cheerful about it, plus it seems to flatter almost every skintone, depending on the shade picked!

    The tinted moisturiser that im using at the moment but nearlt finished is the Olay Touch of Sun. So im thinking i will be trying out something new an a week or so once this one is finished.

    Orange is a beautiful colour and i think looks great as a nail colour

    Welcome back Yaz! I really like the look of the Face of Australia Illuminator and the Covergirl eyeshadow with built in primer. I need eye shadow that stays put!

    The eye shadows are definately on my list, I love that they’re a combo of things all mixed in. Also loving the look of the FOA Illuminator (reminds me of the NARS). And I’ve only (for the 1st time) used the YES TO Cucumber Facial Towelettes and I’m in love with them, so I think I’ll have to give the Blueberry ones a go for sure.

    Yas is back!!! Yaaays! I saw those face of australia illuminators on the weekend at priceline, they had no testers tho so I was unsure…

    i am so happy you are back! i had a look at the illuminator at priceline the other day and all of the colours looked so unnatural on my skin :S
    love the sound of the eyeshadows- that would make applying them so much quicker and easier!

    Thank you, Primpers. It’s good to be back home. Amelia, that question is a totally valid one and one I have no idea how to answer. Ha! It started as a funny thing one day, and then just became a habit. Now, it’s a weekly occurrence. The short answer, I guess, is that I’m nuts :-) Yxx

    love orange digits and invisible zinc tinted day wear is hands down the best tinted moisturiser and sunscreen there is.
