Alright, Primpers. Let’s talk foundations.

This week, the Foundation Gods have spoiled us for choice, sending FOUR new foundations onto the makeup market for everyone to enjoy. Be it an oil-free, anti-ageing, skin perfecting or 2-in-1 formula that you’re after, I’m pretty sure there’s something here for everyone.  Hooray!

Let’s take a look at what’s new and fabulous and fun…

Now, let’s all enjoy a bit of Friday entertainment. Seriously, you need to watch this. It’s brilliant…

And finally, some notes for the non-watchers…

1. Laura Mercier Oil Free Supreme Foundation, $59,

This fabulous oil-free formula is great for all you Primpers with oily skin. With a medium to full coverage finish, this easy-to-glide foundation prevents excess shine and feels wonderful on the skin.

2. Covergirl & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation Base, $22.95

If you’re on the lookout for a foundation that feels like you’re applying moisturiser, this one’s for you. It’s a lovely mix of foundation and serum, so treats your skin while making it look a million bucks.

3. Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation, $32

Picture this: a foundation with 3 colour pigments to ensure your skin tone is perfectly even. Well, here it is. This foundation has yellow pigment to counteract dark circles, purple pigment for dullness and green pigment to minimise redness. It’s brilliant!

4. Dr. LeWinn’s Skin Perfect Anti-ageing Foundation, $39.95

There comes a time in life when you start to see fine lines around your eyes and want to do something about it NOW. That’s me, by the way. This newcomer from skincare brand Dr. LeWinn’s works on your wrinkles while covering imperfections. I’m sold.

Tell me Primpers…

What’s your favourite foundation?

Any of these take your fancy?

Sofia Vergara is just gorgeous and I love that she can make fun of herself. I was just laughing so hysterically watching that, it’s brightened my day!! Thanks Primped.

My fav foundation is a really expensive one and then a really cheap one.
    Mirenesse Velvet Maxilift Foundation $89.50
Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse Foundation, which I can get for $6.95.

Massive difference but I love them both.

    What a delight Sofia is.

I have a mirenesse foundation with serum included but i must admit it confuses me a little as normally i would apply a serum then my moisturiser a primer and then my foundation…hhmm
