I wish to wear (super-fun) multi-coloured nails like Beyonce

Really important point I need to make before we get started: Just because I’m frothing over Beyonce’s nail colour(s) in these snapsies, it in no way means I am also enjoying the shape of her nails. In my I-like-short-and-rounded-nails opinion, I believe they are too long and too pointy for everyday life. They are, however, perfect for Beyonce and her diva-esque onstage antics.
I’m glad we got that out the way, Primps, because now we can get into the fun stuff (i.e. staring at Beyonce’s multi-coloured nails).

WHY I LOVE HER NAILS:
- I’m a classic kind of girl, Primps, as well as a perfectionist, and if B’s digits were painted blue, green, pink, red and metallic gold, I’d find myself scrunching up my button nose in disgust. But because her colours of choice – pink, orange, tangerine and fuchsia – are all in a similar colour family, I find myself completely in awe.
AND WHY I WISH TO WEAR MULTI-COLOURED NAILS, TOO:
- I often find myself standing in front of my rather epic nail polish collection scratching my head. I love all the colours I own, you see, and choosing just one measly colour to wear is like asking me to choose my favourite makeup brand – it’s practically impossible.
- And sometimes I feel like a particular pink in the massive pile is screaming out “Wear me, please” simply because it’s sitting next to an equally as brilliant coral hue and the pair of them together makes their hues look even better than they do when they’re apart, you know?
- I also can’t help but feel I never have enough fingers (or nail polish remover, or time to paint my nails) to make use of all the pretty colours I’ve collected over the years. Wearing five different colours (or even 10!) at the same time would spread the nail colour love a heck of a long way.

I think Beyonce can pull of anything, she is pure gold at the moment.
I wouldn’t want to do this myself but I think it is a really cool look.

wow those are some extreme nails. I love the colours but I don’t think I would want my nails that long. Agree short and round is the way to go!

I think I love it… although I’m with you Cherie, I think the colours would have to be tonal for me. And on the shorter nails.

I love it! I’ve seen girls with pastel coloured nails in all different colours. SO pretty but I don’t have enough colours and I’m scared I’ll look childish.

I love the bright multi colour look but not for myself. I also don’t like how long Beyonce’s nails are, i think long nails like that are unhygienic.

Yes they look good with her skin tone. Very nice! Totally agreed though re the length of her nails – I find that length gross!

Wow, how does she get changed with those nails. She would ef struggle trying to under bottons! haha.
I can never decide what colour to wear as i also have a mountain of polish.
Currently, i painted my nails black and blobbed random circles of pascal pink, yellow, turquoise and orange all over the black

Beyonce should have used gold nail polish instead. As for me I prefer one colour, although I use a flower pattern over my nail polish for special occassions.

I wear different colours ALL THE TIME! always in the same colour just different shades, unless it’s for a patriotic cause

Meh. They aren’t really doing much for me. I can’t get past the length of her talons. I lurve bright nail polish, the particular shade of fuschia pink I am wearing right now got plenty of compliments from the girls in my son’s kindy class, but only one colour at a time.

Not a fan of this look at all. I do like wearing two tones, but not so similarly coloured ones, I much prefer contrasts (ie Red with black tips in a kind of French manicure style).

How the heck do you put your own clothes, and stockings, on with nails like that? Great for show but not for day to day. Bit like foot binding and stilletos to hobble women. Great look on Beyonce who no doubt has dressers, stylers and someone to wash up for her. Truth is they probably come off when she comes off stage.

I was colour blind for a second and thought only her ring finger was different. I think that would be cool too just having the ring finger slighty differnt if you werent ready to go 5 different shades

She looks a bit manic in that piccie!! I like when one finger is done differently in a very well chosen clash. Plus shorter nails for sure. Those talons look dated & scary!

colours are fun, but they are long enough to be called talons!

Maybe I would on my toes, but I seen people with muti-coloured nails and some people can pull it off but others can’t depends on their personality. B nails are great I had to look twice but its subtle and suits her style.

Sometimes I alternate between two colours – I like black and red. It looks a bit cute and quirky and I get lots of compliments.

Oh my God! I agree! Every time I go to paint my nails I get really indecisive… I’d like to paint my nails an assortment of colours but think I’d look more than a little silly! I like this idea about colours from the same colour family…will try it out!

I absolutely love the colours, and i think its a lot of fun to switch it up and wear different colours on nails, but the length is disgusting!! they look like fake nails glued on.

i totally agree with your comment about all your nail polishes looking amazing when together and less so when ou isolate one! I use this example all the time when talking to my customer about merchandising, I think Sportsgirl do it well with thier nail polishes. Im never able to buy one due to the clever way they are merchandised.
This picture scares me a little though, the pointy nails and intense eyes!

Looks like everyone is thinking the same -those nails are too long!! imaging how hard it would be to apply make up with those things, you’d scratch yourself!
