Just landed: two mind-blowingly beautiful makeup collections you’ll use to bits
Wed, 17 August 2011 2:18PM
So, in the last few days, I’ve had these two brand spanking-new makeup collections land on my desk from makeup powerhouses Chanel and Napoleon Perdis. And I’m predicting they’re going to sell like hot cakes because they’re by far, two of the most universally flattering, shockingly practical, but incredibly beautiful collections we’ve seen in a long time.
Rachel Bilson proving that fairy-floss-pink cheeks and lips, teamed with highlighted-in-all-the-right-places skin, will get you a long way in life.
Without further a do, let’s meet our favourites from the newbie ranges…
From Chanel… (on sale NOW!!!)…
1. Chanel Iridescent Effects Palette in Beiges Limited Edition, $100. Once you recover from its beauty, you’ll realise the trio of shades look just as pretty blended on the cheeks as they do on the eyes.
2. Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Royallieu, $50. Part balm, part gloss, unlike most nude lippies, this one is packed with super-fine shimmer to play up all skin tones.

From the Napoleon Perdis Love Unleashed Collection (on sale September 5th)…
3. Napoleon Perdis The Ultimate Color Palette, $45. Three varying shades of nude-y-rose-pink perfection with built in how-to tips that make contouring, a piece of cake.
4. Napoleon Perdis Creme Eyeshadow in Quick Silver (right), $35. It’s more bronze than silver and dries with a near-powder finish that prevents it from creasing.
What do you think Primpettes?
Are you ready to drop your coral and head into the nude-pink zone?
Is this Rachel Bilson at her finest, or what?
Are you a sucker for new-season/limited-edition collections?
Are you a fan of nude-ish pink makeup like us?

Especially loving the Chanel blush palette, Chanel lipstick and the NP ring! It’s so cute.
I’m just not sure pink looks as good on darker complexions.

Rachel Bilson is sooo pretty! I want her hair and her eyes and her eyebrows so I can wear nude pink as well as she does!! Not sure it would look as pretty on a blonde?

Looks like RB has replaced her long standing balayage with some dessert hair (unless that’s an old photo)? Looks amazing!

Rachel looks so radiant! The natural pinks suit her.
I have a lovely nude pink and a nude lilac that are running out. So the Chanel nude pink set is a must look for me.

I love the nude pink but think Rachel looks a bit plastic in that look. The Napolean ring looks interesting.

Is it just me or does Rachel Bilson look a tad too air brushed here? I think she’s on her way to looking like an Anime character!
But that being said, she is stunning. And i love the peachy-pink make up collections, yummo!

Oooh, pretty! I’m not one for nude shades, but these just look so cute!

Rachel looks like she’s wearing a little too much blush but the shade suits her so well. I’m lusting after the Chanel newbies!
Posted by: thereneetree Enthusiast // Wed, 24 August 2011 02:35am
She looks outstanding! I love that matchy matchy makeup is everywhere at the monet ie same shade on lips and cheeks, eyes and lips, cheeks and eyes etc or all three. Gorgeous

Also I read somewhere that rachel Bilson uses Becca beach tint in watermelon which was actually one of the two shades that came free with Madison awhile back (:

My gosh Rachel Bilson just does no wrong! She looks amazing.

I am a total sucker for limited edition ranges. The packaging is usually so much prettier.
I’m definitely more into nude-pink over coral. It’s more flattering to my pale skin and looks natural when applied correctly.

I want everything! Especially Chanel!!!!
Posted by: zoeeangelaa Master Fan // Sun, 18 September 2011 01:15pm
