Kate Moss. Her Best Fashion & Beauty Looks (& Lessons)

Ms Moss has been out and about this past week, showing off her inimitable style. For example, this heavenly 1930s-esque golden gown, worn with sun-kissed skin and smoky eyes:
All the partying has been for the launch of Kate: The Kate Moss Book (currently $89.95 at Book Utopia). A retrospective of the supermodel’s career, the lush coffee table book comes with a choice of not two, not four, but eight different covers:
Probably because Kate couldn’t pick a favourite shot. Say what you will about her, but the girl knows how to give good photo.
Not to mention amazing personal style. Forget what she wears on the catwalk – it’s how she styles herself on the sidewalk that has really started trends and had us copying her every fashion and beauty move over the years.
It got me thinking about which Kate Moss moments I’ve loved most. And you know, I could probably write a book on her myself, so many highlights have there been for me. I never used to think much of Kate Moss, what with all the stories and rumours and facts about her drug use etc. But she has found her way back into my heart, I think she’s amazing and she cannot take a bad picture.

She does look beautiful as the time and i always love her hair. I love the idea of owning the book but at nearly $90 its a bit expensive for me.

I’m actually not a huge fan of kate moss, i mean i like her and i love some of her looks, but i prefer other models better than her, like poppy delevigne and miranda kerr.

Whatever you may think of Kate’s personal decisions she has made, she is the absolute epitome of style. She has a unique way of carrying herself and her fashion choices are never wrong. From jeans and boots with a leather jacket to the lemon dress pictured above, she can do it all. And her looks have been copied again and again. She is truly confident and comfortable in her own skin and it shows.

I’m not a fan of Kate Moss. I’m probably going to get shot for saying this, but she looks so… unhealthy. Her hair is lank, her skin is never bright and fresh… there’s no denying the woman looks incredible in photos, but I think her time has passed. I’m definitely more inspired by models who concentrate on being healthy and radiate an air of healthiness (i.e. pretty much all the VS models) with their dewy skin and clear eyes.

I’m a bit hot and cold with Kate, I think sometimes she looks amazing and other times she just falls a bit flat. I think it’s good though that she was able to clean herself up and still manages to look good these days. Not many people could do that!
