Kate Walsh knows how to get her shine on
Mon, 9 May 2011 9:53AM
We’re not silly (most of the time, anyway). We know there’s an abundance of red heads taking over Hollywood right now. (I’m fluttering my eye lashes your way, Blake Lively and Drew Barrymore.) But Kate Walsh hasn’t just jumped on the flamin’ haired bandwagon, Primps; she’s been riding it for donkey years. Auburn tresses are her signature style, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
But I’m not here to talk about her hair hue; I’m here to talk about the glimmer factor. Yep, it’s her super glossy strands that are making my brunette tresses feel a wee bit dull of late and thus causing me to go on a shine-inducing product hunt.
You see, I want shiny hair like this…
…and like this:
And here’s how I’m going to get it:
I’M GOING TO USE A SHINE-ENHANCING SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER…
…like Palmolive Naturals Brilliant Shine Shampoo and Conditioner, $4.99 each.
I’M GOING TO USE A SHINE-ENHANCING TREATMENT ONCE A WEEK…
…like Wella System Professional Shine Define Mask, $34.
I’M GOING TO USE SHINE-ENHANCING STYLING PRODUCTS…
I’M GOING TO USE A SHINE-ENHANCING HAIRSPRAY…
…like Schwarzkopf Extra Care 10 Carat Shine Lacquer, $6.99.
Yep, that’s exactly what I’m going to do, even though I’m feeling a little shined-out right now. Just joshin’. I could never get sick of luscious shimmery strands, Primps. They are timeless and simply beautiful.
Do you think Kate has beautifully shiny hair?
Do you want shiny hair like hers? Or do you prefer a matte, textured finish?
How do you get super shiny hair?
