THE MAKEUP: Luminous skin. A mix of super-glossy bold, colourful pouts in hues of tangerine, watermelon and peach. Groomed brows. Brightly coloured nails. Bare lashes and lids.

THE VERDICT: This matching nail and lip colour combo is cute. Pretty. Feminine. Summery. Wearable.

It’s also a super-smart way to jazz up a simple outfit or hair ‘do, as your eyes are immediately drawn to the bold pops of colour.

Better yet, when recreating this runway makeup look at home, you can choose the matching colours you want to wear; the colours that suit you. Love red nails? Then crank out a red lippie to match.     I love matching nails and lips. I bought a new red lipstick to match my favourite red polish and I must say, it looks fabulous (if I do say so myself).
    The orange shades look great here too.

    I love the nail colour:)
    Matching lips and nails depends on the occasion and which colour your’re going for. Matching coral is my favourite!

    I second what Becca said, matching nail and lip colours are great depending on what colour you pick, the occasion and what you are wearing!

    Now I just need to run out and get more matching pairs!

    The model to the extreme left in the last photo looks a bit alien-like though! I think it’s the hairstyle.

    so fantastic! matchy matchy doesn’t always look the best -but in this shade it does!!!!!

    I like it! It don’t think it’s too “matchy-matchy” at all – how often do you walk around holding your hands up to your face like models 1+3 anyway?! LOL

    Unfortunately, I don’t have any lipstick and polish that match. Guess I’ll HAVE to go shopping now *sigh* – haha =)

    not a fan of this look, would go with Less is More,,,,if you do bright nails, go with simple manicure,,,,and vice versa..

    I love the red lipstick in the second photo.

    I try to match my lipstick with my nail colour, but I tend to wear my lipstick to match my clothes.

    Hehe, matchy matchy is cute. But I prefer nude nails or less bold nails. I prefer matching my lipstick to my shoes lol!
