PRIMPED Look Book strikes back; how to score tix to our in-store events

It’s baaaack! The PRIMPED Look Book that is. And this year, and we’re also bringing back our in-store events. Woot!

In case you’re new to the fabulous world of PRIMPED.com.au, the month of September is kind of a BIG deal for us. It’s officially our most beauty-packed time of the year, so if you fancy scoring tickets to the most glamorous, money-can’t-buy in-store events in town, and bagging one of the most bragged about beauty GOODIE BAGS in all the land, then I suggest you read on.

Making its 5th instalment, we’re gearing up to release our PRIMPED David Jones Look Book on September 1 back in to beauty counters in David Jones stores across the country. Twice a year, we trawl through thousands of pics and products to give you a rundown on the latest, greatest, most-flattering, easy-to-copy makeup, hair and skincare trends that you need to know about.

Kind of like your very own personal shopper, this mini-mag has everything covered, from this summer’s hottest lipstick shades, to the nail polish everyone will be talking about, right down to the party looks of the season. I suggest you keep a copy in your handbag at all times, because you don’t want to hit up the beauty counter without it. Plus, did we mention it’s FREE?! Run, don’t walk.

So, back to the in-store events business. This year, I’ll be getting all dolled up to host morning and afternoon sessions of fun with a handful of other beauty experts -think world-class makeup artists, hair geniuses and nail pros, to talk you through this season’s key trends and how to re-create them at home. It’s going to be a hoot. Plus, not only will you walk away with a brain-full of beauty tips and trickery, but you’ll also head home, armed with our much-talked about, much-loved BEAUTY GOODIE BAG.

REGISTERING IS EASY-AS. HERE’S HOW

• This time around, you’ll be registering for you AND A FRIEND. So tell your best buddy to jot that date down in her diary and keep it free. There are only 20 seats available per session (so that’s 10 of you and 10 friends). Fingers crossed you get chosen.
• You’re only allowed to register once, so be sure that the date you’re registering for is highlighted in bright pink texta and you have no other plans for that day.
• As this event is going to be bigger than Ben Hur, it’s simply a matter of random selection. No favourites here, Primpettes, we love you all equally. However, if you are one of the lucky chosen ones, we’ll notify you via email on the date stated in the T&Cs for your chosen city.
