Being the beauty-obsessed clan that we are over at PRIMPED HQ, the news that Michelle Phan is coming to Australia got us more than a little excited.
But Primpettes, if you haven’t heard of Michelle Phan, allow us to get you a little more acquainted.
Michelle made her debut on YouTube in 2006, with a how-to video on natural-looking makeup created at home on her MacBook Pro. Six years later, with a head-spinning amount of hair and makeup tutorials under her beauty belt, she’s now just shy of two million subscribers on her own YouTube channel, and is the global online makeup blogger for Lancôme.

And now for the exciting part. As I mentioned, Michelle is coming Down Under to share her self-taught makeup tips, tricks and techniques at two appearances at Lancôme Myer in Sydney and Melbourne. For Sydney-siders, your event will take place in the beauty department of Myer, 436 George Street, Sydney on August 2nd at 5.30pm.
However, we’ve joined forces with Lancôme to offer five lucky Primpettes the chance to attend the Melbourne Mural Hall Bourke Street event on August 3rd at 6pm, valued at $50, along with a Michelle Phan Lancôme Gift Pack, valued at $89.
To be in with a chance to win, all you have to do is tell us in 25 words or less why you would love to meet Lancôme’s Michelle Phan in Melbourne.

Michelle’s bubbly personality lights up the screen! Her techniques on applying makeup are so easy to follow. She loves my favourite colour Magenta, sometimes called Fuchsia. So I’m one of her fans who would treasure meeting her on 2 August at Myer Sydney.

Michelle taught me how to put my makeup on! My mum was never into makeup so I found myself left to my own devices. Michelle was one of the first gurus I ever watched and followed religiously, and I’d love to have the chance to meet her so I can tell her in person

I just got a phone call at 5.55 asking if I was still attending because I had won. but I never received an email and didn’t know that I had won
I’m so sad that that I have now missed out. I got told I will be able to watch video footage that will be uploaded.

I would love it because as I am getting older I know I cant use makeup the way I used too. I need help finding the right shades and applications to bring out the best in myself as am getting older.. Its costing alot to try and find the right balance
