Is your book on sale? Are you doing events for it?

Zoe, I heard a rumour that the best and most fun and helpful-est beauty book ever written is about to go on sale next Monday, and it is called Amazing Face and somehow you snuck your name into the space usually reserved for the author.

Is this true? It sounds terrific! I’ll be buying copies for everyone I know who has eyes and a pulse.

Will you be doing any book signings for Amazing Face at all? Where? When?

Also, are you doing a killer promotion on PRIMPED where I have a chance to win a signed copy of the book and a Revlon makeup kit worth over $350?

What an interesting and authentic name! I love it.

Thank you for your curiosity and excitement, it certainly is thrilling knowing my beloved beauty book slinks onto book shelves in the coming days. Here is the cover. Mmm. Edible!

I’m so proud of this delightful, juicy little page party. The design and layout is outstanding (thank you, Miss ALLISON COLPOYS) and the tips and tricks within, (which critics are saying are, “definitely going to teach you some things you didn’t know” and “very tippy and tricky” and “not as tasty poured on my pancakes as I thought they would be”) are my very best, and most loved, and I think, probably most helpful over my many years as a beauty editor, which I still can’t believe is a Real Life job.

If I were to cut the crackle, Amazing Face exists to help you get unstuck if you’ve been doing the same makeup for years, or been taught techniques that aren’t as flattering as you perhaps thought they were, and even if you’re a know-all fancy-beauty-trickster, there are bound to be a few prodz and sneaky how-tos in there you didn’t know that might further boost your trickster levels so that you’re one step closer to being the Grand Wizard of Beauty in your friendship circle.

Now! As for the events: “Yes.”

And they kick off next Monday, so let’s all get our diaries out and our start remembering how to chuck sickies so that we can come along.

It goes without saying, (but not typing) that I would love you to come along and say hi, Zeo, as well as all the PRIMPED lambs, and not just because I’ve run out of banana Paddle Pops to bribe my friends and family into coming. No! No. It’s because you’re all so adorable and have such great makeup and trendy nail polish and lovely smiles. Plus, it’s not just a signing, I’ll be answering some Q&A (clearly my favourite way to communicate, always) and just having the time of my life, so that’s bound to be infectious.

    Are bookings required for DJ Melb? I followed the link right on over to the DJ website but it doesn’t mentioned whether we need to book? Also – do we have a rough idea how long it will go for? Not that I want it to ever end, but I’m going to have to come on over during my lunch break which makes timing ever so fussy!

    AH-mazing book. lust at first sight and then true love from then on, I’ve read it twice already and only bought it last week. now I just need to go shopping seeing I’m starting from scratch. I know this is only a recent-ish blog and it has already been released blah-di-blah-di-blahh but is there any chance you might possibly visit Perth at some time in the near future?

    Awww Poor Perth misses out. We are really nice people here. Can’t wait to get your book. I stand in front of plethora of cosmetic stands and get discouraged, then walk away. As for the sterile counters in the big departments, I’m scared of those women in white coats and too much makeup.
