Missoni’s new goodies: nom nom nom.

Missoni, like Flowerbomb, has been one of the most popular fragrances in the last couple of years. I understand this. It is a fine, fine fragrance. Mmm-hmm. (It’s a gourmand, by the way, which means that it’s a foody fragrance. This would be due to the notes of chocolate, orange, mandarin mingling with rose, peony and amber.) It’s little sister, Missoni acqua, launched a year or so later, and BOOM, equally as lush, but lighter, fruitier, seasidier-in-Sardinia-ey. (Nomnomnom.)
They’re both very popular. Stupidly so. And the fact they keep chucking in spicy new packaging and delicious little Christmas goodies? Makes them even more popular.
Take the two new treats, for example.
The first is vibrant, lush fringing. The original scent comes in pink and purple and red tones, and the acqua in blues and greens. It’s kind of like of your perfume has popped a little Missoni cardigan on. (Indicating your perfume is clearly earning more than you; Missoni cardigans be expensive, dawg.) The Missoni original EDP is $225, the acqua EDT, $160.

The second is the Christmas gift box, which includes a 100ml EDT Missoni Acqua ($175), or 100ml EDP Missoni original ($195) and a little gold charm bracelet, which includes a little solid perfume charm. Adorable and wearable.
Here is said charm bracelet. Cute, collector’s item, conversational piece.

These “charm”ing (zing!) gift sets will be on sale from Monday. Giddum at Myer and David Jones.
