WIN: 1 of 10 St Tropez Bronzing Mousse Self Tan Dark Packs

Fri, 16 November 2012 2:07PM

It’s no secret here at PRIMPED that we harbour a deep, undying passion for St Tropez Bronzing Mousse. We are simply obsessed the stuff. There’s absolutely nothing to fault about it. The ease of use. The lack of smell. The absence of streaks. The evenness of fade-out. And, most of all, the colour: a deep, dark tan.

So infatuated are we with the Gisele-like shade of bronze this wonder delivers, we’ve been known to layer on much more of the mousse than we really should, in an attempt to turn it up a notch, Or ten.

But now we don’t have to. Because St Tropez Bronzing Mousse has a new sister: Self Tan dark Bronzing Mousse.

And she’s one sexy, saucy little minx. You can read more about her here. But here’s what you need to know: If you love fake tan, you will adore this.

Another thing to love: St Tropez is giving away this fabulous fake tan to ten lucky Primpers.

Complete with a Tan Applicator Mitt, which makes self-tanning even more of a breeze.

That’s a total value of over $70 per pack, Primpers!

To enter, tell us in 25 words of fewer what your deepest, darkest tanning secret is.

Good luck!

THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED.

The winners are: C Hayman, QLD; C Posthuma, VIC; N Talbert, NSW; T Prinsse, QLD; J Emery, NSW; T Poletan, SA; G Auld, QLD; K Stevens, VIC; N Coulson, QLD; K Turner, QLD. Congratulations!

Dont use a body wash with moisturizer in it like Dove or the tan wont take well on your skin

It makes me feel like a whole new person and it sometimes scares me that a slight change in skin colour gives me so much more confidence.

When I have one, I’ll tell you…I’ve always been to scared to try at-home tanning products !

Exfoliate and moisturise, moisturise, moisturise for a smooth even tan.

I used to think that getting sunburned on my face would dry out the skin and stop me getting pimples – can’t believe I was that stupid!

My secret is eat plenty of plum, carrot, spinach & tomato. Carotenoid-rich foods will make you glow then apply bronzer for an amazing tan!

I get a strong beer, massage it on to my skin every 15 minutes while I sun bake. It acts as a tanning lotion but it gives you this shiny reddish tan that looks like you’ve been photoshopped, legit. If you want to give it some colour, I buy some skittles. Place it on the spots you want it on, leave it while sub baking with the beer “lotion” on and take it off when you’re done. And voila, a skittle coloured tan!

That my natural pale skin, is actually a fake tan. I’m that pale.

LOTS of moisturising & a good skin preperation sprayed on prior to the tan.

Once I had a horrific experience with a spray-on tan – I looked like an oompa loompa! I had to cancel on an event saying I had a bad flu, when really it was my appearance that was violently ill!

When I was young and poor, we used a mixture of vegetable oil and brown vinegar to speed up the tan. We smelled like fish and chips, and we got burnt but oh! did we have lovely tans.
