Rihanna’s bountiful curls: How big is too big?

THE PROBLEM: Rihanna has ditched her fiery red strands (which looked ace with red shiny lipstick, by the way) and gone back to her natural brunette hue, which means her locks are not as, erm, attention grabbing as they once were. And that clearly does not sit well with Rihanna. Superstars need attention, after all.
THE SOLUTION: Rock some EPIC curls at the UK launch of her fragrance, Reb’l Fleur; curls that have been swept over to one side to create one whopping voluminous ‘do.
Now, I know I said the solution to gaining maximum hair attention was bountiful curls, Primps, but I’m not sure I believe my own words. I mean, it was Rihanna’s idea, after all – not mine – and considering she didn’t ask for my input, I won’t say I had any creative contribution when it came to this ‘do. And honestly, I’m glad I didn’t, because I’m not sure I like it. Yes, Rihanna can pull it off. She could wear beige granny undies on her head and manage to look good, but there’s just a bit too much ‘80s vibe happening for me, you know? Too much volume, too fuzz, too much side-sweeping.
But that’s not to say I don’t like big hair, Primps. I do. Truly. But I like is when it looks a little more like this…
Yes, this is big, poufy hair at its brilliant best.
But what do you think, Primps?
Are you a fan of Rihanna’s huge hair?
Or do you think she’s gone a little over the top?
Would you ever wear a ‘do such as this?
And what do you think of the other celebs sporting poufy styles?
Are they more up your hair alley?
