Gardenia and tuberose are well known for their aphrodisiac qualities, so pique his interest with big floral scents. (Like Jo Malone’s Vintage Gardenia Cologne and Tuberose Colognes, both from $80).
For a richer, more daring scent, try a heady oriental that’s rich in spicy and woodsy notes. (Like Obsession for Women by Calvin Klein, $80, which has notes of vanilla, sandalwood and amber.)
Want to seriously snap his head? Try a purpose-built sexy scent like Agent Provocateur, $112, with its raunchy blend of gardenia, jasmine, Moroccan saffron, amber and musk, or Tom Ford’s Black Orchid, $155, which lays it on with ylang ylang, jasmine and black currant. Purrrrr.
