The fresh glowing skin:
After cleansing your face in the morning, apply a liquid foundation like Rimmel London Lasting Finish Minerals Loose Powder Foundation, $19.95, for a natural, even complexion.
The eye factor:
The key to this look is using a light hand, and staying away from thick, harsh lines. Use Rimmel London Soft Kajal Eye Liner Pencil in Jet Black, $8.29. This soft and smudgeable eyeliner will give you the smooth application you need. Another alternative is to use the Sable Brown shade for a softer and more natural definition.
Step 1: On a taut eyelid, use short strokes to draw a line on the outside corner of your eye. Focus on drawing along the lash line rather than above it. Stop two-thirds of the way in.
Step 2: Using a thin eye shadow brush, brush a light amount of deep eye shadow along the lash line. Try Rimmel Colour Rush Mono Eyeshadow in Jet Black, $9.95. This will help set the liner and soften the lines.
Step 3: Apply the same shade of shadow to the lower lashes, but only halfway across. For a more natural finish, don’t re-dip the brush into the shadow. Instead, use the left over traces from applying along the top eyelid.
The nude lips:
Finish off with a light coating of gloss over lips. Rimmel Vinyl Gloss in Steal My Kisses, $11.95 will give you a natural sheen.
