Help in finding a more mature foundation
Mon, 1 December 2008 3:23PM
What are some good foundations for older, over 60 skin?
More mature skin requires a foundation with illuminating properties to it, to help reflect light and make your skin appear more radiant and dewy. You’ll also probably want something that’s hydrating and has full coverage, to help even out your skin tone and mask some of those sneaky little pigmented areas that might be popping up.
La Prairie Anti-Ageing Foundation, $150, is like an anti-ageing face cream and foundation in one hit. Not only does it give you even coverage, but it also helps slow the ageing process, too.
For something a little less pricey, Maybelline New York Instant Age Rewind Foundation, $20.95, helps firm up your skin and gives you that lovely, radiant finish.
Otherwise, Revlon Age Defying Makeup with Botafirm, $36.95, helps improve hydration and provides more of a medium coverage, if that’s what you prefer.
