Unlike Lucas Paw Paw Ointment, this doesn’t leave your skin dry a couple of hourse after application. It really does soften your skin so you don’t have to be continuosly applying. Great!!

Love the product, love the brand & love the creator. It’s my go-to lip balm during day, although I find I need a higher strength lip balm for overnight. Also useful for transforming matte lipsticks to a softer luminous finish.

This is one of my beauty staples. It is the best lip balm I’ve tried. After one application my dry, cracked lips felt hydrated again. A little bit of the product goes a long, long way. It’s a great balm for cuticles and little cuts as well.

I can honestly not put how great this product is into words. It works brilliant, I didn’t know what healthy lips were till I tried this. I think I’ll be using it for the rest of my life, so many uses, and works brilliantly.

I got this in NZ before I realised you could buy it here in Aus, great stuff! very moisturising!

I must use this product about 4 times a day! It is the best lip hydrator and conditioner I have ever used. It’s not sticky and doesn’t have a small so it’s a great essential in the beauty bag. I used to use PawPaw before a friend recommended this and I haven’t looked back!

This is the most I’ve ever spent on a lip balm, but it is without a doubt, the best. Prevents dry lips and works a treat moisturising your lips once they are already dry and chapped. Quite thick and tastes a little sunscreen-y, but you can tell this is a high quality product. If you have a cold and the skin on your nose is sore, red and dry it’s quite nourishing on that too.

I do like this product, and I really want to love it…

the only thing for me is the smell, I might be sensitive/imagining it, but to me it just smells like sheep… or at least it has a smell about it that I don’t usually relate to cosmetics, which turns me off a bit.

It is super moisturising, but when you’re paying $18 for a tiny tube of lip balm, you’d want it to be!

I have used this for a couple of days and its already making an improvement.

Lanolips range of lip glosses are the best glosses! They are the only ones that keep my lips moisturised through out the day.

I’ll be honest and say this product really didn’t do that much for me. I received a sample to try and it hasn’t really convinced me to go out and buy one.

Yes, it’s moisturising, yes, it works well for dry lips/skin, but so do a lot of other lip balms out there and for a fraction of the cost.

Overall, it has a rather thick consistency, and doesn’t have much of a scent/taste to it.

Love this balm! I never understood what all the fuss about Lucas was because Lanolips is so much better!
The original 101 one is great for all the time lip conditioning but they have some great colours in the range that give a subtle tint effect.
Priceline often to coupons for these if you are a member!

This is perfect for my dry cuticles which always develop annoying hang nails! It’s very moisturising and you only need the smallest dab. I like applying it before I go to bed or on the bus as it’s very lightweight and handy. It’d be great for any other dry areas as well.

My favourite lip product! I find that a little bit goes a long way which is great. It’s perfect to use in winter when lips can become very dry and flaky.

  • Posted by: MissPaigeLauren Devotee // Tue, 3 January 2012 12:37pm

It is really cute :) it is smove and not sticky and it did rehydrate my lips. This is a great lib balm however i find that it is really expencive for what it is. There are other lip products half the price that do the same thing for me. I love this but dont think i would buy it again.

I picked this up as part of a pack of 3 lanolips lip balms and it worked out to be really good value.

I will happily repurchase this when it runs out. I usually use the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour lip balm but have ran out and find it hard to get since it’s usually limited edition. I like this one almost as much.

Does a great job with flaky dry irritated lips.
AND leaves a super shiny healthy look. Im soo happy with this, itll stay in my handbag at all times!

I like this one very much … I try every lip balm, gloss and ointment I can get my hands on … love my lips to be moisturised and silky soft. I particularly like this over my everyday lippies. It’s not too sticky like some, feels great on and makes me lips look and feel soft and shiny, just what I like!

  • Posted by: Knyholm Master Fan // Thu, 5 April 2012 05:54pm

This does a great job at moisturising the lips and leaving them nice and glossy, without that tacky or sticky feeling. Also works great on top of a lipstick for extra sheen. A must have for the handbag.

Everyone needs this! I had a friend who sore by the lanolin cream from Coles for her chapped lips (only problem was she could only use it at night because it made her lips white) I introduced her to lanolips and she’s never looked back. It’s a winner for perfect lips everytime!

This is the best lip balm I have ever used and I have re-purchased several times already. Even in the dead of winter my lips don’t dry out and I even have my husband using this now. I love that it has no scent, the only gripe I have is that it’s hard to get out of the tube in winter because it solidifies. I’d love to have this in a stick form like a chapstick.

  • Posted by: Linda-1341075684 Master Fan // Mon, 24 September 2012 02:32am

I’ve recently purchased my first tube of this in one of the gorgeous coloured shades and am in love with this product. It’s thick in texture so a little goes a long way. It feels amazing – immediately after applying my lips are very soft, comfortable & with the coloured tint, look fabulous. It’s not too shiny, just adding a nice colour & texture to my lips. As far as balms or lip treatments go, I’m yet to find a better one

Love love love this. Can be used for literally anything. So moisturizing and gentle. Handy hygienic tube too

  • Posted by: strawbsundae Master Fan // Sat, 13 October 2012 12:28pm

101 Ointment is a little pricey compared to most lip conditioning products, but I found this product to hydrate and moisturise my lips a little longer than most other products I have used. The tube comes in handy when applying and a great little product for my handbag.

  • Posted by: Sparkles17 Master Fan // Sat, 27 October 2012 09:56pm

This has become a must have item for me, I use it for everything from dry lips to helping with my allergies by adding a little near my nose, also on my elbows and cracked heals. Just a tiny amount goes a long way.

  • Posted by: Jensta Master Fan // Thu, 29 November 2012 11:59am

I used this balm after I had had a throat operation and my lips were really dry, cracked and sore. I also got really dry under my nose for some reason and using this balm, cured everything for me. When your lips are dry and cracked you really need a moisture hit, and that is what this balm does.
This is fantastic for so many different things, but I have found it best with anything dry and sore.

  • Posted by: daylight dancer Master Fan // Wed, 5 December 2012 01:04pm

I love this product for my lips. I cant believe how effective this is at soothing my dry sore lips. After application my lips are no longer sore and they immediately stop drying out. Any cracking gets repaired.I find it to be extremely hydrating. It doesnt feel sticky on at all. So im very happy with it.
My lips look healthy and shiny after ive applied.
Its a great size for a clutch or handbag and even your pocket.
    I strongly recommend!

I looooove this lip balm! I have it in Lemonaid. It’s smells like lemonade and has a slight shimmer to it – so natural and gorgeous! It lasts at least an hour on the lips and leaves them feeling so soft and nourished! The Rhubarb colour leaves a beautiful natural colour tint!

i do like this lip balm, but i prefer the ones with the sheer colour added.. this one is just a plain balm, which is very highly priced! it moisturises nicely and does keep the lips soft, but its a bit plain!

  • Posted by: lolo Master Fan // Sun, 9 December 2012 02:26pm

Fantastic stuff! It is so thick and moisturising, I only use on my lips and cracked, dry skin areas.. I dont use on my face because I have oily skin but it works wonders everywhere else! Lasts all day and makes my skin soo smooth and silky :)

This is one of the best australian beauty products out there! A cult classic which delivers results, fast. It is quite a thick consistency but that’s what you need with troublesome dry skin. I love using it on my lips, cuticles and a separate tube is used especially for my heels. It really does work and makes your skin feel so soft and full of moisture! Great for cuts, grazes, burns and rashes as well.

I love this product. From being a Paw paw girl for many years, I think this may even work better than Paw Paw ointment.

  • Posted by: Keesha Enthusiast // Thu, 14 March 2013 04:15pm

Quite possibly the first and only product that does not dry out my lips, whilst adding a little shine and once disappearing, leaving my lips nice and soft. I didn’t think products ever actually did all of these things, but this one does!

I recently received a sample of this and I loved it!! I used it as a lip balm and it worked wonders for me. I’ve had a cold and have been breathing through my mouth at night meaning I wake up with dry cracked lips. But this instantly soothes them and kept them hydrated and soft! It also created a glossy finish which was great! I haven’t tested it out on eczema or sunburn or anything but it works really well on your lips! I’m keen to buy a tube!

  • Posted by: Claire88 Master Fan // Sat, 4 January 2014 05:40pm

Although this is classified as a lip balm product you can use for so many other purposes. I use it nightly as a cuticle treatment and it’s great for minor skin irritations and rashes because it is so soothing and healing. I have eczema and dermatitis on my hands and it has helped heal and protect my skin.

I have a toddler and even with a child’s sensitive skin I know I can apply this freely without any irritation to his delicate skin. If you are breast feeding you can even use it to heal sore nipples… As you can see its a terrific multi tasker!

When I use it as a lip balm, it is so rich, thick and hydrating and definitely soothes and heals my chapped lips. I usually apply it at bedtime and when I wake up my lips are soft, plump and no more dry flakes!

The product is packed in a small soft plastic tube with a screw top lid, perfect for tossing in your handbag or nappy bag. Although the tube is small, you don’t need a lot of product and a little goes a long way.

This is definitely one of my travel essentials, perfect for soothing dehydrated lips on a long flight and also as a multi purpose balm when I am on holidays.

I love Lanolips, I also have the Golden ointment and I own the Lanolips ointment SPF 15 in Rhubarb… All fantastic products …highly recommended!

One of the only lip products that actually does what it says – it conditions my lips and gets them back to a non-peeling state. Perfect for winter, if I have a little excess I just rub it in to my cuticles!

  • Posted by: theaussieone Enthusiast // Sat, 18 October 2014 04:03pm

    An essential product
A great ointment for everyday use when your skin is dry, irritated or itchy and especially great for dry or cracked lips. I find that is quite s thick consistency so a little goes a long way. I have been using it for years and love how it is medical grade and all natural. I do find that in winter it is quite hard to squeeze it out of the tube because it gets cold but it soon warms up.
