Aquasource is a gel based moisturiser which comes in a glass jar. It has a fresh botanical type of scent and has a very light texture. It wasn’t as good as moisturising I was hoping that it would be as I have dry skin.

dont let the name aquasource fool you. This moisturiser i think will only work in summer and this is coming from someone who has combination skin. the gel doesnt seem to get absorbed well into my skin at all, it leaves a sticky feeling even 15mins after application and it does not do anything for oil control. my skin feels like it hasn’t absorbed anything and so continues to produce oil. I wouldnt recommend using this before make up because the gel takes a long time to be absorbed (and if absorbed) and i find that when i turn to put sunscreen on it becomes rubbery particles coming off my skin which in turn causes havoc for foundation application. wasnt very happy with this purchase, will not buy again. however the aquasource moisturiser for dry skin is another story – will review there.

I got this as a free sample in a show bag and was a little dubious about using it. But I was pleasantly surprised! I have sensitive skin and the product is a like a gel. It smoothed into my skin brilliantly and didn’t leave a greasy finish like some cream moisturisers can. It is very light and is good for when I need a touch up at work or before putting on make up. It also has an almost citrus smell which is refreshing. I would recommend this to people who have sensitive skin as it appears to be waterbased.

I have combination skin in summer and pretty normal skin in winter. I find this product great for summer. Leaves my skin hydrated enough without feeling oily and is absorbed pretty fast.
However, it isn’t moisturising enough for me in the winter time, so this is strictly a summer moisturiser for me.

I love the texture and the fragrance of this moisturiser! I have combination skin, but my skin can get very dry in winter and I find that this isn’t quite rich enough to get me through the day. It comes in easy to transport packaging though, so I can reapply as needed.
Perhaps a better option would be to buy separate moisturisers for various parts of my face, but Biotherm is a little too pricey for me to justify splashing out on two moisturisers!

This says that it’s best used for normal/combo skin types and from that I thought I’d have no luck with it but I was pleasantly surprised by it. I have mature/dry skin and I actually found this to be a beautiful moisturiser for my skin. It hydrated it nicely, leaving no dry, thirsty areas. I love the signature Biotherm glass jar, they’re so pretty. The product is a gel-like substance but doesn’t leave any sticky residue after use, it absorbs perfectly. I love the smell of this too, such a pretty, light, natural scent, very pleasing to the olfactory senses. I actually recieved this in a deluxe sample size and have been using it for over a month, so a little goes a long way.

I use the Biotherm Aquasource cleanser, toner & moisturiser and they are the best I have every tried. I definitely recommend using these products, especially if you have had problem skin as I found my skin clear up within a few weeks of use. The moisturiser is gel based, which was initially difficult to get used to as I had previously used light creams. Once you get used to the gel texture, it is just incredible, it slides on smoothly and leaves skin feeling soft and refreshed. A little goes a long way with this product as well, you only need a little bit of it or it won’t soak in. This moisturiser is beautiful.

I really like this moisturiser. I love the gel consistency and it gives the exact amount of moisture that I’m looking for. Not a huge fan of the smell, but it doesn’t bother me too much.

This moisturiser is really light and hydrating. The gel consistency makes it easy to apply to the skin. However, I didn’t see much of a difference in my skin, it did stay hydrated yet I still sound it to be the same texture it was before I started using it.
The only thing I disliked about this product was the scent. I just sound it really strong and could smell it on my self during the day.

i really love this.
i walked past it when it first came out i was walking in myer when i saw this.
i had to read reviews before i bought it.
i was convinced that it was good enough for me to use.
and so i did.
i really don’t regret buying this and i will keep on buying it.

The best thing about this product is the scent. To me, it reminds me of summer, and feeling fresh after a cool shower. However I do agree with my fellow Primettes regarding the level of moisture it provides – not much. However, I usually buy it each summer for the scent alone. Crazy? Quite possibly

The first thing I noticed about this moisturiser was how different it was for all the other moisturisers Ive used in terms of formula. It is slightly similar to the clinique dramatically different but definitely more cool and wet. It is a pale pale mint green colour, the same as in the picture. I like the glass jar which feels so nice and sleek.
This is best for combination to oily skin types as the gel really mattifies the skin. It absorbs very quickly and is just hydrating enough for me. I like this for daytime as it leaves my skin with a soft finish. In the night time it is not moisturising enough for me and makes my skin very oily. It is still one of my favourites to use under my makeup as it is so comfortable and has no residue.

I purchased this in summer as I adore gel moisturisers. This moisturiser is divine and comes in a glass jar and has a lovely fresh fragrance which makes it very enjoyable to use. The texture is light and sinks into my mature normal to dry skin beautifully. My skin feels lovely to touch a few minutes after application and looks well hydrated. It may not be rich enough for me during cooler months but will see how it goes.
