When I first saw these, I knew I had to get some! Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters come in a nice selection of colours ranging from nudes, pinks, corals to reds and browns so there is bound to be a colour for everyone. I picked up these in Candy Apple (a gorgeous red), Tutti Frutti (a fun orange), Sweet Tart (a medium candy pink), Lollipop (an intense fuchsia) and Peach Parfait (a natural peach with golden shimmer).

Like the Colorbust lipsticks, these come in a similar quilted patterned square tube, but the plastic is semi-opaque and are in varying shades to correspond with the colour of the lip product inside. The tops of the lids are also clear so you can see the colour inside which is handy. Inside the product comes in a sleek twist up silver tube with an angled flat surface for easy application. The formula of these lip butters is creamy, smooth and buttery and they glide easily onto the lips for a glossy and moisterising finish. Depending on the shade, some are more opaque than others. I don’t mind that these are sheerer than a traditional lipstick as I love the more hydrating and thinner formula which gives a more natural finish.

These lip butters remind me very much of the Dior Addict Lipsticks but I still think the Dior lippies are slightly more moisterising/wet and smoother in texture. I feel like these initially feel quite moist upon application, but after a while my lips can feel a little dry. This is only a minor con given I can easily combat this by applying some lip balm or gloss and these retail for ½ the price of the Dior lipsticks. I also love that these lip butters are unscented/unflavoured as I often find scented lip products can become sickening after a while.

I would definitely recommend these and give them 5/5 stars!

I’ve been using my lip butter for the last week and i’m not totally sold just yet.

My colour doesn’t stay for very long (I’ll admit thats probably because I’m always smacking my lips together), and while it is super soft, as the ad suggests, its not as super glossy as the gorgeous Emma Stone displays.

I’ve found that it dries up pretty quick, so I have to re-apply more often.

I’ve only tried it in Creamsicle (a nude-ish shade), but am going to give it a go in a darker hue.

It’s light a the colours are more towards the natural side than bold so if you’re like me and don’t enjoy wearing heavy lippy, give this a shot and see how you go (but I’d keep my lip balm on standby to keep your lippy lips softy soft).

I’d give it a go again, but not in a hurry.

I have this in Sweet tart which is a nice opaque medium bright pink. It is very light and moisturising. It leaves my lips feeling soft. I am not a fan however with how the pigment in it sticks to the dry patches in my lips as it wears away. I also wish it contained SPF.

I first saw these as reviewed on blogs in the US.
I was so excited to have these released in Aus. I am a girl who likes to transition between lipstick and glosses on a regular basis, so this was right up my alley, being creamy like a lipstick with not-over-the-top shine and a big range of colours to suit everyone.

Bit expensive for what it is, but I already have 3 shades, so its not too bad.

If you love cliniques chubby sticks then these lip butters are for you!!
I put off buying these for a while because I didn’t believe the hype surrounding them.. Silly me.. These lip butters are just as good as evyone says. They glide onto my lips with ease, leaving them tinted, soft and very moisturised for hours.
I have since gone out and bought them in 5 different shades, and I use them daily without fail!!
A must have for everyones bag!!!!

I have been using this product for a few days now, and I love it! I have 2 colours but my favorite being ’080 Strawberry Shortcake’ its a light pink hue that has a lovely shimmer to it which goes great with any outfit.

I found that after using this product my lips have become softer and barley crack. The pigment last for a 4hrs if you don’t eat or drink anything whilst wearing it. As it transfers easily.

This product is a tad pricey, but I have to admit that it is worth every penny, its a combination of a chap stick and lipstick in one, with the added shimmer just makes it that much better. I would recommend this product for someone thats wants long wearing colour with added hydration.

    Love these!!!!!!

These are my new go-to lip colours, they’ve got enough pigment to complete a look but aren’t overwhelming when I’m just at the local footy game.

The coloured containers are really handy, both for inspiration in the morning and to find them in my handbag quickly.

I have noticed that they’re not amazingly long wearing, but to be honest I find that with all lip products.

I highly recommend you try a shade.

Nice product, well pigmented and creamy. I object to buying one though (mine was a gift) because of the price, a) 3x the price of one from the states and b) $22 for a coloured lip balm is just too much

By far the best lip stick i have ever used.I own a 4 now and i love how they all smooth across my lips and dont feel gritty. The colour is long lasting. They all prevent my lips from drying out and work really well as a balm.
My favourite shade is the strawberry and i wear it alot. Its a lovely vibrant matte pink. It always looks great on.

The package itself looks really trendy also. I just love everything about them and want to own more.

    MUST TRY PRODUCT!

ah i am so frustrated, i just wrote the review for this product and it didnt publish :(
i love the packaging and texture and colour payoff of these lip butters but they are just waay too expensive! i would rather invest the money into the balm stain and have some cash left over :) i have the colour tutti fruitti, its a gorgoues bright orange, perfect for summer, for those who are too afraid to wear a full on bright, bold lip!

I have the lollipop shade and just love the bright colour it gives me while at the same time so soft and moist on my lips like a lip balm. Really want to get more of these in the lighter shades for everyday wear.

Revlon Lip Butters are one of the most amazing lip products to ever exist! The lip balm properties and lipstick finish make these Lip Butters a lip balm and lipstick hybrid to give your lips the best of both products! I have the shade Sweet Tart, which is a beautiful fuchsia, great to wear for a special occasion or as an everyday look!

I like this product for when you want a hint of colour. However, since discovering the Revlon Just Bitten Stain Balm, I am finding I am using this product less. It is good for the weekends though.

I have one of these in Candy Apple which is a pretty, sheer-ish red. It’s a warm red, not a cool one, and there is no shimmer. I like it but it’s actually not as sheer as I was expecting so I tend to save it for going out. I love how it glides on the lips and feels like lip balm. Unfortunately this means they tend to wear off quicker than your regular lipstick. I think they are way too expensive here for what they are so would recommend waiting for a sale. Packaging is practical and attractive. I’m giving it 4 stars.

The Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter are a versatile lip product, it’s easy to use and has a lovely texture. The shade names for each colour are inspired by desserts, for instance macaroon and sweet tart. However, I currently have the shades in red velvet, cherry tart, candy apple, tutti fruitti, pink truffle and berry smoothie and I love them all.

There’s 22 shades in this range and some are more pigmented – like lollipop and red velvet, whilst others have more of a shimmer like peach parfait. It doesn’t last all day (1-2 hours), but it’s easy to apply and doesn’t bleed or smudge.

Would I buy this again? Heck yes!

I have this product in 3 shades and I got all of them as GWP from Revlon.

As much as I like this product I probably wont purchase it myself as I believe it is overpriced for what it is.

The staying power is the same as your average lipstick. It is much much more moisturizing than average lipsticks though.

The colors are very pigmentated, however they don’t last long.

I think these are way over hyped. They are ok products, but they definitely are not worth $22. They are moisturising and easy to apply but I find that most shades have too much shimmer in them, and if you get a lighter shade they tend to look too frosty. The brighter shades are definitely the best of the bunch, but you can only use them in limited occasions. I prefer Revlon Kissable Balm Stains – they are cheaper, are more comfortable, dont have shimmer, and they last longer.

    Really stunning!

Amazing range of shades, I think I own about 6 or 7 already? They’re smooth, comfortable and moisturising but because they’re a balm you need to be happy to retouch with this product. I also love that they have zero taste like some cheaper lip products (yuck). Ooh and lastly, the packaging is fantastic! Convenient and really modern.

I do really love these lip butters, they have a great range of colours and are easy to apply. They make your lips feel soft and are not as harsh as lipstick. I have to say they still peel my lips occasionally, but it seems most products do this to me. I’m in love with Strawberry Shortcake and Raspberry Pie. I wanted so badly to like Tutti Frutti but the colour just doesn’t suit me. The only other thing I’d say is how disappointing it is paying the $21.95 price tag here in Aus after purchasing some for considerably less in the States. That’s just the way it is, but it stings a little!

This lip butters are amazing, i already have 4 different shades and i am definitely going to get some more. The range of colours is huge, and they’re a great quality lip products as well. They’re rally hydrating as well.

I love the bright pink, very creamy and hydrating and the perfect colour. Not very long lasting though.
