  I only use cleanser in the evenings after I have removed my make up with a plant based sorboline and a hot face cloth. This is a lovely cleanser, it’s a low foam formula, milky rather than creamy. It leaves my skin feeling clean but not tight. The fragrance is quite light. Overall it’s a great budget cleanser at a great price.

  The first thing I noticed about this cleanser when I opened the tube was the highly perfumed fragrance. It is not the usual scent I am familiar with when I think of Palmers, instead this new scent is their signature featuring ‘White Lily’ which I discovered is typical of all their facial products. I was a bit concerned about the strong smell but I decided to bear with it and put the cleanser to the test.
  The formula itself is a thick cream that is sometimes a little trying to get out of the tube. On occasions, I ended up with a handful of product due to squeezing the tube so hard to dispense the cleanser. You really only need the smallest amount to cleanse your whole face and neck so therefore you need to remember not to get carried away and squeeze the life out of the tube, because you will end up wasting a lot. Upon application, I found it didn’t lather up so it remained true to its creamy texture. It was pleasant to apply and rather gentle on my sensitive skin. While my skin was left feeling ever so soft and really nourished, when I wiped my regular toner on my face I still had heaps of residue left on my skin. I also was sporting racoon eyes because the cleanser wasn’t effective at removing all traces of my stubborn eye makeup. When wearing hard to budge eye makeup and especially my Invisible Zinc Tinted Daywear I always have to make sure I use a pre-cleanse solution to remove these products from my skin prior to cleansing because the cleanser alone won’t cut it. I liked this cleanser better for use first thing in the morning when I didn’t have any excess gunk on my face, it is ideal for the first step in my daily skincare routine when a gentle cream cleanser is my preference.
  On the plus side, my skin was hydrated and feeling soft and smooth without being greasy. I didn’t experience the taut feeling I tend to get from using harsh cleansers that also dry my skin out. I like that this cleanser has the inclusion of antioxidants which is important for me as I need all the extra support and protection I can get in the fight against free radical damage. I presume you would need to use this cleanser for a longer period to see any noticeable results. I have been using it for a few weeks tops and I can’t say that I can see any obvious changes in the overall condition of my skin. Like most products though, it is usually around a month, which is the time it takes for normal cell turnover, before you can really tell if this is going to produce visible results, so I guess time will tell.
  Unfortunately, for me the biggest drawback remains to be the strong perfume that lingers on my skin even after I have washed the cleanser off. I don’t fancy the scent at all; and I find it to have one of those “headachey” type of smells.
  Overall, it is good value for money and if you are happy to use a highly scented cleanser then this product might be worth checking out. I can guarantee that it is gentle on even the most sensitive skin but it is not particularly effective if you wear makeup.

  The cleanser comes in a squeezy tube and a gel like consistency. The smell is the chocolatey cocoa smell which defines the brand Palmer’s. Even though I like the smell, I am taking one star off because I think the smell is too strong – it lingers even after I wash it all off and I don’t like using a product which has too much fragrance. I use about the size of a 10 cent coin and I find that it is enough to give a subtle lather. When I wash it off, it leaves my skin feel soft and clean.

  I really like this cleaser. I have normal skin and I find it nice and gentle. It has a creamy consistency and doesn’t really work into a lather. I’m not too fond of the smell, but it’s not over powering to me. This is the second time I’ve bought it and will buy it again.

  The cleansers texture was quite thick, but also very creamy and smooth. You need very little to cleanse your whole face and neck, it has a very mild lather as well which adds to the great texture! It has a pleasant scent which isn’t too over powering.
  After using the cleanser for a few weeks I noted my skin was softer and I had less pimples than before. I would recommend to anyone with normal skin (not oily not dry)

  This was a nice cleanser to use – it lathered well and I like the subtle fruity/floral fragrance that reminds me vaguely of apricots. My skin felt clean but a little tight after use but it is definately gentle on skin and non-irritating in my experience. I followed with rhe Palmers Day Moisturizer and found that both products worked well together – my skin felt smooth and hydrated. And nice price too!

  This is a nice creamy cleansing lotion.
  It takes just a tiny amount to get a light creamy lather on the skin. It washes off easily with no residue and I find that my skin is not dry or tight after use.
  This makes it great for dryer skin that neat a more gentle cleanser that is not harsh on the skin.

  I used this yesterday for the first time and I am very impressed so far. I was also very surprised at how little I had to use to get a nice creamy lather on my face. The fragrance is lovely and soft. I use a lot of Palmer’s products becuase I trust the brand, and this I believe will become a part of my daily routine.

  My partner and I both use this and I hate the smell of it. It’s so strong and chemically. It hasn’t really changed my skin in any way, but I do have quite sensitive skin. The smell was just too off putting for me to keep using it for long, but he stuck it out. No noticeable difference.

  I was expecting great things from this cleanser from what ive read, but i was bitterly disappointed. I went to use it this morning in the shower and i couldnt even get it to squeeze out of the tube, even after running it under hot water and squezing it really hard. luckily i took it back and was able to get my money back. I hope the mask i also bought from this range is not as disappointingly bad.

  I adore this cleanser. I use this morning and night after my Palmer’s Gentle Exfoliating Scrub and before my Johnson’s Moisturising Day Cream. I usually use them in the shower in the morning and at the basin at night time.

  My skin is very sensitive and a combination of dry and greasy. I usually have problems with my skin feeling tight and with this cleanser I have soft skin and no tightness or pinching which keeps my makeup looking fresh for over 12 hours. My skin loves it and I will keep using it so I recommend you give it a try too.

  Plus, it smells divine.
