I love, love, love this balm stain. I wore it for the first time on the weekend and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it lasted. Through eating and drinking, the colour remained with few touch-ups needed. It didn’t dry out my lips either. So many colours to choose from and not very expensive. Just perfect!

i was a bit hesistant to try this balm stain because i thought it was just really good marketing.. but while i was in priceline, i swatched the colours and they were all gorgeous and vibrant! i ended up buying sweetheart and cherish.. they last 5-6 hours on my lips without feathering and they are quite moisturising! highly recommend!

    Absolute perfection.
I cant believe how much ive fallen in love with these balm. They are the prefect size for you to handle and the crayon like tip works very well to apply the product to your lips. I have the shades honey and cherish. Honey looks like more of a natural shade on my lips whereas cherish is a very vibrant pink. The balm easily and smoothly glides over my lips. After applying my lips feel so smooth and moisturised. The stain never dries out my lips and there is no chemical like smell to the product.
The stain provides long lasting colour to my lips. Much longer then a regular lippy. I can eat and drink and colour is still visible.
The other end of the handle has a twister for you to access more balm, so dont think that whats under the lid is it, there is more balm consealed in the tube.
Im so impressed by this product, this will be a staple for my beauty bag for many months/years. I strongly recommend you buy and try!

i bought alot of these because of the cute chubby sticks. ( yes i know i have this love for gimicky packaging)
but honestly i really love this!!
i have bought the clinique chubby sticks
and also the tarte chubby sticks (Not available in Australia)
i dont regret buying this. i LUF IT!!

    My new love!!
I have a few Clinique chubby sticks, but I will no longer be repurchasing because these are just as good and are a lot cheaper.
I love the pencil design, it’s so cute and makes application a breeze.
The balm itself is very creamy with a peppermint scent, and has a cool effect when applied to the lips. It lasts for a good four hours without rubbing off and because the colour I have is so similar to my natural lip colour, when it does start to fade it looks even still.
I really couldn’t recommend these enough, they are a great handbag staple and for under $20 they’re affordable enough to buy a few colours.
    I’m hooked!!

Amazing product, gives a gorgeous colour ans stays put all day. The colour Sweetheart is a bright beautiful pink that I now wear every day. Better than some high end lipsticks I own

I have this in ‘Honey’ and adore it for a smoother softer nude-ish lip, I also like the pencil design, the slight menthol scent and cooling sensation when applied. I have yet to try a bolder colour but plan on buying at least another in a brightish pink for summer. I can’t compare it to say, the Chubby Stick, as I haven’t ever used it.. but highly recommend this for ease of application and staying power.
This was also amazing value as a two for one special going at Priceline!

This is a great balm/stain hybrid! I have the colour rendezvous which is a lovely orangey coraly shade perfect for summer. It’s moisturising with a good colour pay off. Beware it has a minty taste/smell!

OMG I love this stuff. I purchased a couple shades on the weekend from Priceline and put it on as soon as I got home it is beautiful and soft to apply and by the time I went to bed you could still see a hint colour without any touch ups

    As an update:
I now own four of these gems. Darling, smitten, honey and cherish.
Darling is a lovely lavander purple. Its not a bright purple at all and look quiet light on applying. I love it for day wear.
Cherish is a more vibrant pink. Its quiet bold and stands out alot. Perfect for night time parties.
Honey is a nice natural shade and perfect for work wear or shopping. Its a neutral colour to me. Can be paired with any eye make.
And smitten is a deep moroon colour. This is a very bold colour and would be good for going out at night with.

Im still loving these balms. The lasting power is hours on me. They last through eating and drinking. I love how easy they are at handling and applying. I believe they are worth the $17.95. If you see them on sale, take advantage and buy more because you wont regret it.
Id love to own the entire range of shades.
Love Love Love. I dont know how any brand can improve on this product ever.

I bought these in Honey and Cherish and I use them almost every day! The formula is non-drying and the pigment builds really nicely. These are perfect for my busy work day and I can’t wait to buy more!

These stains have been a huge hit in Australia – and I’d been wanting them since the beginning of the year when it was released in the US.

These have been compared to the Clinique Chubby Sticks – especially with their packagaing, but I feel the formulation is different from the chubby sticks. Personally I feel these Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain have a better colour payoff than the chubby sticks – especially in the shade sweetheart, a lovely hot pink which I’ve been wearing very often during this silly season. They’ve got a slight minty taste which I’m a huge fan as well as a more friendlier price tag.

The only downside, out of the 12 which were released in the, only 10 shades are available in Australia (typical!). Also, I feel the shades Sweetheart and Lovestruck are very similar in shade, so purchase one if you’re into hot pink shades.

Overall, Revlon have really stepped up their game in the past year, and I can’t wait to see what they’ve got next!

    Love ‘em. ‘Nuff said.

I have about 9 shades of these, I adore them! They are the most comfortable and low maintenance lip product I have ever come by, which suits me perfectly.

The loss hydrates your lips for about 2 hours, and the stain can last up to 6 hours depending on the shade you have. They have great nudes, great bright shades, and great dark shades.

I can’t fault these, everyone will love them

Not too pleased with this product. I’m a massive fan of Revlon cosmetics but this didn’t provide enough pigment. Can’t go past Clinique Chubby Sticks!

This is an amazing lip product. Smooth on the lips with a tonne of pigment. If you use this make sure your layer it a few times to get the stain as one pass isn’t enough. I find I get about 6 hours wear. Only thing that prevented it being 5 stars is the peppermint, it bugs my lips a little but now I wear it all the time so don’t notice a tingle anymore.

Picked up a couple of these last week. I was eyeing off the Revlon lip butters and trying to convince myself that I absolutely needed more of them. However I decided to give these a go and Im SO glad I did. I haven’t tried the Chubby Sticks but I feel absolutely no need as I think it would be hard to top these. So smooth, so pigmented. Last for such a long time. If I had one complaint it would be that when they do eventually fade from your lips they seem to fade in a rather patchy way, but this could be more of an indication of the state of my lips. I would have no hesitation buying more of these and in fact, may have replaced my precious lip butters as my fave lip products!

I love these! I have two – in Precious and Cherish. Precious is a nice, lovely nude colour that once it stains, becomes a pinky coral which is lovely. Cherish is a bubblegum pink. They have a nice scent (which isn’t noticeable when you have it one) that is pepperminty. They last for a really long time. Love these and highly recommend!

These are brilliant! Long lasting, just nicely sheeny, moisturising, vibrant colour – perfection. Well done Revlon!

  • Posted by: missselin Devotee // Fri, 8 March 2013 12:11pm

Perfect, I wear these every day!
It can get a bit dry, but the colour is beautiful.
Lot’s of variety and I love the fact that it’s shaped like a crayon.

I was so excited to try these out when they were released, and I’ve been enjoying them ever since.
While I’ve found that some colours don’t show up too well againts my skin tone and I’m not a huge fan of the sent, when these babies work they WORK!
I’m talking about a perfect sheen of glossy colour that’s easy to apply and touch up with a fair amount of staying power.

A fantastic, non drying novelty item that gives great colour and stays put! I wear so many lip items, but I constantly get compliments when I wear all three of my Revlon crayon lip bams!

  • Posted by: MayaS Master Fan // Thu, 11 April 2013 06:31pm

I have one of these in “sweetheart valentine” – a hot pink! I was expecting it to be much more sheer, but it was quite a strong colour. I usually use it as a base under a bright pink lipstick which had a habit of fading, but with the crayon underneath it lasts a really long time and wears evenly instead of leaving the lipstick just around the outer edges of my lips (yuck!). As others have said it feels quite nourishing and not too drying which is an added bonus! Happy to recommend this one to other Primpers!

I can’t tell you how much I love this balm stain!! It’s amazing. This is my holy grail lip product and is a staple for me..

The colours are gorgeous and it lasts for over 5 hours without eating or drinking or around 3 hours with eating and drinking. I love how even once it starts wearing off it still leaves a nice stain on the lips. I bought 5 colours and I love all of them but my favourite is Adore. The colours are gorgeous!

I also love the packaging. The twist up chubby pencil makes it easy to apply and you don’t have to sharpen it. I also love how the package colour matches the colour of the balm stain.

The formula is really good too. It has a pepperminty taste but it’s not unpleasant. It is not drying on the lips so it’s great.

Overall I love this balm stain!!!!

These lip crayons are simply amazing. I have bought 3 of these alreally and i am definitely getting some more shades. This lip stain is long lasing, there’s a great range of colours to choose from and they’re not as expensive as the Clinique ones.
