First of all the packaging is very convenient it contains everything you need (gloves, instructions etc) the only thing you need to grab is glade wrap which is a personal choice anyway, to wrap your hair during developing time. when i first opened the box and saw how little of the developer there was i was a little worried but is actually foamed up nicely. My hair is very long so for the best results i probably needed 2 boxes but 1 was sufficent. The mouse is convenient as it involves little mess which is always a plus as hair dye stains most things. Developing time is also quick 30 minutes is great compared to sitting is a salon for over an hour. Also very affordable under $20 is amazing compared to almost $200 by the time i walk out the salon door. The smell also was not too bad, not over powering like most others which makes you feel like fainting. The results are great i have a lovely glossy fresh colour and my hair is now full of life and ready for my party!
    Will continue to use.

    Quick and easy.
I had been procrastinating when it came to dying my hair because it’s so time consuming and messy so I grabbed a box (pure darkest drown) next time I was at the supermarket. I waited a few days before I used it because usually there is a heavy scent left after dying my hair which I don’t like to be walking around town with.
It took me about 10 minutes to apply, I only dropped a few specks of the mousse rather than having it flick all over my walls and floor so I was really impressed with how quick, easy and clean it was. I would usually allow at least an hour and a half for application and developing time so when I was done applying and I looked at the time I was really excited at the prospect of saving so much time in the future.
After about 5 minutes of letting the colour develop in my hair I started to feel a little itchy.. like tiny bubbles popping on my scalp. As soon as the 30 minutes was up I washed it out, I would usually let the colour develop longer but I was worried about the itching and didn’t want to do any damage.
The colour coverage was great, my hair felt the same as it would after using my usual dye AND the smell left behind wasn’t bad at all. I also didn’t have irritation on my scalp which I was really concerned about.
I’m not 100% sure if I will use it again.. sitting there for half an hour with an itchy head was really annoying but the application was just so easy so I will definitely consider it at the very least.

Easy to use, no more splashes over the bathroom walls and the colour was perfect.

I love this product. I’m the messiest at-home-hair-dyer so this product is perfect for me. The foam is so light and so much more fun than the usual liquid formulas. The coverage is fantastic and the colour lasts so long, 3 months on and I haven’t got that annoying brassiness that I usually get when I colour at home. You know what I mean, when the top of the head goes a little reddy? The smell isn’t overpowering and I keep coming back to this product. I love it!

This makes DIY hair so much easier!!

There is no drips, and although its a mousse, it has fantastic coverage!

I would like some more stronger colours in the range -a few intense reds would be fantastic.. but the natural hues of the dark browns come out really well (i used one for me as well as a different shade for a friend)

they both turned out well, there is the most amazing amount of shine, that is what really separated them from the crowd for me! :)

I didn’t mind this colour, it’s easy to apply, the instructions are pretty straight forward and the colours are nice.

Unfortunately, the colour indicator was totally off!!! I tried to get a nice light brown colour, but to no avail – brown was almost black, light brown was dark brown and dark blonde was copperish. They were all nice colours, just not what I was after.

One of the best mousse colour’s that I have used. Mess free unlike some others I have tried, Doesn’t smell over powering either and mousse does not drip at all

I would like to see more colours added to this range though

Makes the D.I.Y experience very easy and fuss-free

P.S I usually find it on sale for around $13.00 which just makes it that little bit more appealing ;)
