Colgate MaxWhite One
VIP Review Club

There are loads of pics of celebs on PRIMPED. Bucket loads, in fact. And although you may find the Hollywood crew all sporting very different hair and makeup looks from one day to the next, there’s always one similarity amongst them all – a beaming, bright white smile. It’s like it’s a prerequisite for being famous or something.
The problem is, though, we regular folk don’t usually have large sums of spare change lying around the joint to throw our dentist’s way in order to get chompers like theirs, do we? Um, nope.
But that’s where Colgate’s new MaxWhite One comes into play, Primps.
MaxWhite One is a whitening toothpaste that promises whiter teeth in one week. Yep, one measly week. The reason why this bad boy can do such wondrous things in such a short space of time is because it is made up of White Accelerators, which contain ingredients similar to those used by those amazing – but costly – dentists. Cool, huh?
The best part is a tube of this good stuff will only set you back $5.99, and to get whiter toothy pegs in only seven days, all you’ve got to do is brush your teeth using the product for a minimum of two minutes, three times a day. It’s as simple as that.
We recently rounded up a bunch of VIP Primps to test this toothpaste, and it’s now time for them to think long and hard about how this product performed so they can write their reviews.
If you were a part of this round of product testing, please tell us by commenting below if this product…
Cleaned your teeth effectively?
Tasted good?
Left your breathe and mouth feeling fresh and clean?
Whitened your teeth after you used it correctly for 7 days?
Is something you’d buy?
Is something you’d recommend to your friends?
Is good value?
…and, as always, feel free to add any other bit and bobs if there’s something you’re dying to say about this product.
Can’t wait to hear your thoughts…

My first impression of product packaging was that it stood out from other toothpaste packaging, it looked different, looked like it had something special to offer and that it would be more expensive. The texture of the toothpaste was good it is a little grainy compared to the other whitening toothpaste I usually use. Judging from the texture I would assume it has quite a high baking soda content, the very slight “baking soda” taste made me think that too but I have used toothpastes with baking soda in them in the past and have found them very effective whitening toothpastes. The flavour of the toothpaste is good (apart from the VERY slight baking soda taste!), it tastes fresh but not too minty that it’s too overpowering. After brushing my teeth my mouth felt fresh and clean and my breath smelt nice and minty. I think this toothpaste gives fantastic results, even after the first clean my teeth looked whiter. I was happy with the whitening toothpaste I was using before which I thought was the best whitening toothpaste on the market (as I’ve tried a few!) but I find the results from Colgate Max White are actually better so I will definitely buy it again and I will also recommend it to friends.
4/5
much love

The major pro about this product is that my mouth felt very clean. Although the taste was odd it wasn’t entirely unpleasant and it was a very clean taste. It wasn’t quite a minty taste, but it definitely had a mouth freshening effect. I suspect this had something to do with a baking soda formula. Onegood thing about this is that it didn’t have that chemically aftertaste that makes food taste horrific, its aftertaste was odd but less ‘chemically’.
On the other hand it didn’t operate well as a tooth whitening paste, which is what it was supposed to do. I noticed only a very slight different after continued use for seven days – one to one and a half shades lighter at the most. If anything this might have been just because my teeth were extremely clean. I have been a coffee drinker in the past but this trial coincided with my caffeine detox so I wasn’t ‘undoing’ any effect of the whitening on a daily basis. This was also with twice a day use.
Overall however, this is not necessarily a deal breaker as the whole tube is only about $5 which is approximately the cost of a regular tube of toothpaste, and it does a really good job of cleaning. It is something I would buy again, not because I expect any miracles in terms of whitening though. Its not a hugely expensive product for a little benefit in terms of whitening but a lot in terms of a general feeling of cleanliness. I wouldn’t recommend it a an especially good option for those concerned with tooth whitening though.

The max white tooth paste was a blue gel that actively foamed in my mouth! I felt like it definitely cleaned my mouth and also left a very fresh breath.
The tooth paste is a very fresh minty flavour whihc was not too overwhelming!
I felt like after 3 days my teeth were instantly whitened!
I bought this for $5 and it was very affordable!

I was quite suprised by this product, I was expecting it to be chalky and grainy like other whitening toothpastes but the texture was gel-ish and pretty smooth just like my regular toothpaste. The taste was fine – minty but not in a mouth burning way, and as you are meant to brush for 2 minutes thats probably a good thing. I think I was brushing too hard because my gums where becoming really tender by the end of the week..I’m obviously just a bit of an enthusiastic brusher. In the end I did notice a difference with whiteness nothing major but enough to warrant continued use.
I will recommend it to others to buy its a good everyday toothpaste with enough mintyness to keep your breathe fresh. If your already buying toothpaste, try this one its pretty much the same price and it has extra whiteness making ability thrown in.

The box is very eye catching with the sparkle silver colour. I really like that it comes in a stand up tube with a flip top.
Very easy to use and there isn’t any overpowering taste or after taste. It has a nice minty taste but the paste is slighty chalky. It definitely leaves your breath feeling fresh.
I would say that my teeth are whiter since using it which surprised me as I have been using another whitening toothpaste and didn’t think my teeth would get whiter. But people have commented on my whiter teeth.
I have enjoyed trialing this and because of the fast, great results, I will definitely being recommending this to friends and family and will be buying and using this in the future.

I was really pumped to try this new toothpaste out, the ad’s looked really convincing on tv and it seemed like a fast/easy process (whiter in only 7 days!). However, as much as i wanted this product to work, i haven’t noticed much of a difference in the colour of my teeth. After the first brush they did seem to sparkle and seemed brighter but i think it was just because they felt super clean (as another reviewer pointed out).
I did exactly what the packaging said, brushed 3 times for 2 minutes (i timed it). After the 2nd day i felt my gums really starting to hurt because of the constant brushing (and maybe the texture of my brush?) so i had to reduce the brushing to 2 times daily. Also i found that the increased minty-ness of toothpaste made the sides of my mouth dry…
Maybe i’m just the sensitive user hehe
Overall, it cleans great and leave my mouth feeling fresh and super minty but it didn’t really whiten my teeth.

Hi Primpers,
As much as I don’t like to ‘judge a book by it’s cover’, I immediately looked forward to trialing Colgate’s MaxWhite toothpaste when I opened my package. The packaging consists of silver sparkles, and it really stands out against the other toothpastes I’ve tried.
I really love the taste of the toothpaste. It’s a common problem for me, as many toothpastes have such a strong minty taste that it actually irritates my gums. While the flavor of MaxWhite didn’t irritate my mouth, it did give me super fresh breath for a number of hours.
I do think that this product whitened my teeth, but I think I’ll have to use it for another week or two weeks until I notice significant changes in the colour of my teeth, which are a little stained from my drinking of tea.
All in all, this is a fantastic toothpaste, and for such a low price, it’s an absolute steal!

Hey Primpers,
Okay, so I’ve have been really impressed by this toothpaste. And boy have I tried many whitening ones!
Firstly the packaging is catchy, all silver and shiny giving you a hint that inside is something very professional.
The first time I used it, my teeth felt lovely and super clean, my breath fresh but not like a icey-minty punch in the face. And too be honest I actually like the taste. A lot better than other whitening toothpastes on the market. This brings me to the whitening factor -amazing! After using it morning and night (making sure I brush for at least 2mins as Colgate suggests, but not 3 times daily oops!), my teeth have definitely started to sparkle brighter.
Other Primpers have mentioned a gum problem, and although I did at first, it went away after a day or so. I think it’s due to the fact that you need to brush for 2mins -perhaps not the length one normally brushes for? But should!
For the price, I would absolutely buy it again. It’s affordable and effective and would recommend it to anyone who is after a whitening toothpaste.

So, as a full disclosure Max White One recommends brushing 3 times a day for 2 minutes, so this has upped my tooth cleaning from the regular 2 times a day for 3 minutes, so who know if that’s going to impact on anything.
The first thing I noticed about using Max White One was that my mouth didn’t feel as refreshed as it usually does when I clean my teeth ( I was previously using Colgate Max Whitening Tatar Control ), but they did definitely feel clean. I think it’s just a bit of an adjustment not to have that peppermint fresh finish when you’ve been used it for so long.
At this stage I’ve been brushing 3 times a day for 6 days, and I have noticed an improvement in the ‘whiteness’ of my teeth. How? I made the conscious effort to take a photo of my teeth on day 1, and then again this morning because it’s far too hard to track gradual change! With that result in 6 days, I’m confident that they are going to improve over the next few weeks.

The packaging for Colgate MaxWhite ONE is simple but appealing. I liked how the tube was kinda squishy. hah.
The texture of the toothpaste is a little grainy and it foams up very quickly. The flavour isn’t overpowering.
My teeth have got a little whiter after using this product however I’m not sure I like the formula, as it foams up so quickly. I prefer toothpastes that are a little more like pastes, and a little grainy so I can feel it really cleaning my teeth. I’ve also found the clean feeling doesn’t stick around as long as other toothpastes I’ve tried.
Because of this I am only rating this product a 3 but I will update in a week or so with my updated results.

im going to begin with getting to the point and answer what we all would like to know- does the toothpaste work??
to answer simply, yes. however, as it states on the packaging “whiter teeth in one week” it put me in the mind frame of once i tried it, i would have instant white pearly whites. that was not the case.- most likely over optimisitc
i think there would be better results from more prolonged use.
i only used the toothpaste twice a day for 1-3 mins(directed to brush for 2mins) and i have noticed whiter teeth. the upside down tube and cap make getting the toothpaste out very easy. i also had no issues with the taste, “sensational mint” is quite an exact description. after brushing you a left with a mouthwash-like clean. i would buy this product again, as anything that helps with removing teeth stains is a plus to me

The packaging is lovely and lures you to it, making you want to give it a try. This product was not only easy to use but i felt it gave me an effective clean. The fresh minty taste was nice and the texture was also pleasant. After using this toothpaste, i was left with long lasting fresh breath.
The only problem with this product is a big problem and that is because even though i believe it gave my teeth a good clean, it didn’t have any effect when it came to actually whitening my teeth. This is the reason that i would not purchase ‘Colgate MaxWhite ONE’ again. I also will not be recommending to any of my family or friends.
Thanks for allowing me to be apart of this trial and i really wish i could have given it a thumbs up.

When I first opened my package I was quietly suprised, I liked the packaging, and the size. I thought it was a great use of colours…and not to showy.
I thought the taste of this whitening toothpaste was alot better then many of the other ones I have tried, It didnt leave a chalky residue like many do, and it left a clean refreshing after taste.
I have used it three times a day for 6 days now, and have seen a little improvement in the colour of my teeth, I had hoped it would have a more dramatic effect but I will continue to use it for the next week, to see how a longer use may work.
Overall I think it is a good product!

I saw this product on TV and thought i’ll give it a go for $5.99. Im not a big fan of whitening products and I haven’t tried many (altho the idea of nice white teeth sure is enticing!). Overrall, I kept to my usual regime of brushing twice daily, usually about 2 minutes.
I liked the tube, it was easy to look at and easy for the tooth paste to come out (and it doesn’t get messy like regular toothpaste!) It tasted much better than i thought it would, similar to regular colgate toothpaste but not so sure abt the whitening effect. Just a tad disappointed as I didn’t notice much colour difference even after 2 weeks (I must admit I was pretty skeptical right from the beginning).
Overrall, I’ll probably finish the current tube but I’m not so sure I would bother buying it again or recommend it. I guess for the price, it was worth a try.

My first impression of the product was “Wow, it smells nice!” and I really liked the colour and the texture of it. I noticed it was a nice grainy looking blue, but it felt wonderful on my teeth.
The packaging really stands out compared to other toothpastes. The tube itself is great! I like how the lid is a flip top, as most screwtops tend to drop or clog up and leave the toothpaste looking nasty.
In the short time of using Colgate Max White, I have noticed that change in my teeth, being a smoker my teeth tend to get yellowstains from nicotine, but after using the product for 5 days, I have noticed how much whiter my teeth have become, and it is fantastic!
The main advantages in my opinion are; 1) Teeth are whiter and brighter after a few uses. 2) It doesn’t hurt sensitive teeth. 3) It doesn’t taste bad, and leaves a refreshing taste in my mouth.
I’m really happy with my results so far, and I’ve noticed many improvements in my smile, I’m getting compliments about how nice and bright my teeth are looking.
I’d rate this products 5 out of 5! And I’m going to keep on smiling with my gorgeous white and bright teeth!
I will be recommending this to friends, and it is something I would buy in the future!

My first impression of this product was that it looked quite professional in that it came in a nice silver packaging with a more fancy tube than usual toothpaste. It also has a nice big and easy flip top. It has a really fresh minty taste (more than usual toothpaste!) which left my mouth and breath feeling really fresh. I found after a few uses (and still now) it leaves my gums a bit sore and they bled after brushing, and the mintiness burnt a little then but i’m not sure if this is the paste or just the fact i’m maybe brushing longer and better than usual. I guess if its just the brushing then these gum problems with decrease and disappear in the next few days and I will update on this in my next review. I only recieved the toothpaste 3 days ago so I haven’t really seen much whiting effect yet, so I can’t really comment on that or whether i would reccommend this product yet. It is a really good price though since its not much more than usual toothpaste and I will definately reccomend it if I see a whitening effect in the next few days. I’ve given it a 3 star rating at the moment as I have not been using it for long enough to expect it to have any whitening effect yet.

·My first impression of the Colgate MaxWhite One toothpaste was a positive one.
·The tube stands up which is much more convenient for me as I can leave it standing up next to the toothbrush holder rather than keeping it in a drawer like i usually do.
·The cap is a (large) flip top, so you don’t have to worry about losing the cap (and the rest of your toothpaste!). The tube actually reminds me of ones that you get with hair products meaning that the toothpaste comes out easier than the normal tubes and also in the right length for my toothbrush.
·The product doesn’t look tacky and gives the impression that it will work. Plus, I love anything silver and sparkly like the packaging!
· I naughtily indulge in the consumption of white teeth no-no’s, so I was very eager to see the results I would get from this toothpaste. Throughout the week I noticed my teeth losing their light grey tinge and returning to a mild yellow shade. As the week further progressed I noticed the yellow was lightening even more. Not perfectly white (yet!), but I am happy with the results and keen to keep using to get my teeth back to pearly white.
·The directions indicate that you should brush your teeth 3 times a day. As I am on the go all day I can only brush my teeth morning and night and still find that it is having a great whitening effect on my teeth.
·I was expecting a gritty paste with a chalky and off-putting taste, but this is not the case. It is a minty gel that is refreshing and tastes pretty good (certainly not a bad tasting toothpaste at all!), leaving your mouth and breath feeling clean and fresh.
·The main advantages of this product are the fact that it lives up to it’s claims, it is easy to use (as simple as brushing your teeth!) and has a great tube.
·I will definitely be buying this product for future use. It is great value for money for clean and white teeth. I have already recommended this product to family, friends and people who have complimented my white(r) teeth, and will continue doing so as I really liked this product.
·I am eager to see the results from longer-term use and I look forward to sharing my thoughts with you about it after more use

My first impressions of Colgate MaxWhite was that the packaging looked professional and I loved the flip top. The toothpaste itself is a blue gel and there are little gritty bits, which I was a bit worried about – but fear not, the toothpaste isn’t gritty and it foams up nicely like any normal toothpaste. The taste is fine, and my teeth felt clean after use. Now onto the whitening properties – I had been previously using a whitening toothpaste, and didn’t expect much difference in whiteness from using Colgate MaxWhite, but surprisingly after this week, I have noticed my teeth are about 1-2 shades whiter and this toothpaste is great to rid the teeth of surface stains caused from coffee drinking and food etc. However don’t expect miracles from this toothpaste… it doesn’t totally whiten them (only a full on dentist whitening could do that). I could only use this twice daily for 2 mins (not the recommended 3 times) so I will be looking forward to seeing what results I will get after continued use. I would happily recommend to friends and repurchase Colgate MaxWhite, as I am happy with the results and this toothpaste is just as good/if not better, than other whitening formulas on the market. It does what it says – I am happy!

I am an already huge fan of colgate so i was thrilled to try this new toothpaste out. Also I drink a lot of tea and coffee so my teeth are not always at their whitest which is a shame.
But thankfully for Colgate, this has all changed.
My first impression when I got this product was the shape of the tube which is smaller and more wider then normal toothpaste packaging. But its a lovely shiny silver so its a defiant eye-catcher. I love that the bottle stands upright on the flat lid so its so easy to store when not in use.
The taste was like any other toothpaste, it was fresh but it wasnt too over-powering.
I was a little skeptical at how much it could whiten my teeth in just over a week so I was sure to make notes on how white my teeth were to start with. Now looking at them, they are not overly white but have defiantly improved on my never before whitened teeth. It seems to have whitened unevenly but maybe thats just how I brush my teeth. I would most defiantly buy it again and I am keen to keep trying it and let you know how I go with continued use.

Unfortunatly i have only been able to use it for the last three days, havent noticed a huge difference but i am keen to keep using and review again. What i do like is the texture of the paste is more like toothpaste gel rather than the usual chalky whitening pastes, the taste is very pleasant just like toothpaste and doesnt leave you with a horrible after taste so fingers crossed in 7 days they are whiter everything else has the thumbs up from me.

I was so excited when I got my little package in the mail, and even more so when I opened up the cute little silver box. For what it’s worth, the packaging is lovely. Now – on to the product. I’ve used many different whitening toothpastes, and most are a little gritty and have paste-like texture. This one was a gel, so much smoother in the mouth. It tasted minty, and left my mouth feeling fresh for a longer time than most – which is good as because of sinus problems I have to sleep with my mouth open… Getting rid of the gross ‘morning breath’ is always a top priority. It definitely felt as though my teeth were thoroughly cleaned.
The only real problem I had with this toothpaste were with the instructions – brush 3 times a day for 2 minutes. I have noticed some other Primps saying the same thing – this was a bit too much for me (maybe it was my toothbrush), but my gums became very sore and sometimes bled, so I had to cut it down to twice a day, and it was fine after that. I genuinely think my teeth look whiter, and others have commented that they do too. The real confirmation came when I was having my make up professionally done and the make up artist commented on how white my teeth were looking. I would definitely buy this product over other whitening toothpastes, and would recommend it as well. Overall, 4.5 out of 5!
Love xo

I trialled this great toothpaste thanks to Primped, and I’m so glad to have been given the chance. While my teeth are generally fairly white, I’m a daily drinker of coffee and Pepsi Max, so I have some staining which builds up over time. My holy grail toothpaste, Beverly Hills Whitening Formula, isn’t available in Australia, so I’ve been looking for an equivalent for a long time.
I’m impressed with so many things about this product – the practical packaging (love the super-squishy tube), the pretty gel with little flecks of blue, the not-burny minty flavour, and the long-lasting breath freshening effects. Most of all, I’m impressed with how well it has worked for me, even in one week. I wish I’d remembered to take before and after photos to confirm what I know to be true – my teeth are definitely whiter and with far less yellow staining. While this is in no way comparable to a home whitening kit, the gradual effect is fantastic, and fairly rapid compared to other similar products. There’s truly nothing I don’t like about this little wonder product, and I love that it’s so affordable. I never would have believed it, but it’s actually better than my previous HG toothpaste, so it’s going to save me a small fortune in postage fees!

First of all, I have to say that I like the idea of the hygienic safety seal on the cap of the Colgate Max White ONE toothpaste. It’s nice to know that someone else hasn’t already tried your new toothpaste!
The minty flavour was not really a surprise, but I like the fact that it’s not an overpowering taste. Subtle, but still strong enough that the flavour lasts for ages after brushing. My teeth felt extra clean after using the Max White ONE toothpaste – especially after using it the required three times a day, instead of my regular twice-daily brushing. I don’t think my teeth have ever felt so clean without visiting a dentist’s office!
Now for the results… As I only received this product to trial six days ago, I haven’t been able to really road-test it for the required ten days as stated in the review letter. However, after six days of brushing thrice-daily, I would have to say that my teeth are actually looking whiter. Possibly not as white as I had hoped, but still, they’re much lighter in colour than before I started this trial. I have noticed that my teeth have become a little more sensitive since using the Max White ONE, but perhaps I may switch back to my regular paste after the trial time frame and see if this improves.
I would like to continue using this product in future whenever I feel my teeth are starting to discolour again. Perhaps using it for one week out of every four may be enough to maintain this level of whiteness?
I would give the Colgate Max White ONE toothpaste a 4/5 rating, as it does what it says it will do (whiten teeth in one week) but with my teeth feeling sensitive after six days of use, I don’t think it is a product that I could use everyday. But it’s an absolute bargain at only $5.99 a tube!
Thank you to Colgate and Younger You/PRIMPED for allowing me to trial this product.

First impression was that the box looked modern, fresh and kind of sophisticated. It sparkly package reeks of whitening promise!
The instructions were easy to follow and didn’t take up a whole lot of my time. In comparison with some other whitening products where you need to use mouth guard trays, apply an applicator, followed by a 12 minute wait, blah, blah, blah…
Colgate have done a fantastic job of simplifying the process!
To give a little insight on the state of my chompers before the trial… well lets just say I consume a lot of sugar and a little bit of alcohol – so my teeth, while fairly white, do suffer from a little yellowing. After using this product so far for 6 days, I have been noticing an obvious improvement (at lease in my eyes, my boyfriend I think just agreed so I would stop hounding him).
The texture, I felt, was like most other toothpastes and the product has tiny blue beads, which I didn’t think you could notice once in the mouth. However, there was an odd aftertaste! It dissipated after a couple of uses, so I’m just assuming it’s something to get used to. Not unpleasant or anything – the flavour was heavenly minty.
While my overall experience was pretty much a big positive, there were a couple of things that I thought I should mention. The requirement for the first 7 days are to brush 3 times daily, and while thats not hard, I did notice that my teeth became slightly sensitive to cold food and drink – something I never had before. So just throwing it out there, if your pearly whites are sensitive, test with caution.
Otherwise I would definitely recommend this baby to friends and fam and I will persist with my usage!

I have been using Colgate Maxwhite for about a week now, and while I haven’t noticed a huge difference in the whiteness of my teeth, getting ANY change in a week is pretty amazing. I am confident that with continued use the change will become more marked.
Other than that, I really like this toothpaste. My teeth feel amazingly clean and extra slippery, and my breath feels super fresh. I’m really impressed with it, and will continue to use it!

Cleaned your teeth effectively?
Tasted good?
Left your breathe and mouth feeling fresh and clean?
Whitened your teeth after you used it correctly for 7 days?
Is something you’d buy?
Is something you’d recommend to your friends?
Is good value?
When I first got the product i wasn’t really that impressed. I am an obsessive teeth whitener but i do not have the dollars to support this habit. I have tried oodles of over the counter teeth whiteners in the past but i’m always up to give new products a go – especially if they claim to give you a dazzling hollywood smile in 7 days. That being said, i did notice a little change. I think because i was trying it out i was overly conscious of the shade of my teeth – usually i just brush and go with out taking that much notice. As toothpastes go this one was a semi opaque minty fresh gel. I prefer the gel because they don’t have the chalky feel pastes do. Not as strong flavoured as I usually like. I’m a big listerine fan so i have come accustomed to using strong minty products to blast any remnants of that garlic prawn i had for lunch. What i did like is that it was not dissimilar to teflon in that it kept that fuzzy feeling away and nothing stuck all night and day. excellent. I would buy this product again, adn recommend to all my lady friends. Excellent sexy silver packaging with out clumping at the nozzle too. Win.

3 Weeks on I have been using the COLGATE Maxwhite three imes a day everyday and I am vey Happy with the results.
Their is a noticeable improvement to the colour of my teeth, which is all we would really expect from a tooth whitening tooth paste, but that is not all you get from this new product…you also get a plesant taste and a clean feeling.
Over all a pleasing result, and I have a new product that will always be on my shopping list!

So Primpers, it’s been 3 weeks using the Colgate MaxWhite One and I would have to say that this toothpaste still keeps my teeth white. It mainly only gets rid of surface stains, so don’t expect your teeth to get whiter as time goes on. I don’t think it actually changes the colour of your teeth – just enhances it by ridding the stains and yellow that build up from drinking and eating. Would I consider repurchasing this? Yes. It is quite cheap and does what it says. However, I would probably go for my usual White Glo over this, as for the same price, you get same results and a toothbrush is included! (because I’m such a stinge).

I’m really happy with the results of using Max White ONE for the last 3 weeks, there has been a noticeable difference in the whiteness of my teeth. While we aren’t talking photoshop white, when comparing a photo I took this morning to a photo I took 3 weeks ago I’m happy with this pretty simple way to keep my teeth a bit whiter – especially considering my fairly heavy consumption of coffee!!
In saying that, my main priority in brushing my teeth is to keep them healthy, so I don’t know if I’ll keep using it or go back to something with a greater tartar control …

I liked this toothpaste instantly the first time I used it, and now having used it continuously for the last 3 weeks I am big big fan.
I have noticed a great change in the whiteness of my teeth -I have even had people commenting! Although my teeth were pretty good to begin with…a must for a great smile!
I like the taste and freshness it leaves in my mouth, not an overwhelming mintiness but more of a subtle taste.
For it’s price, comparative to more expensive whitening toothpastes on the market, I will buy it again. It is great value!

while it did whiten my teeth a bit, unfortunately I don’t really like the formulation much at all. to me, it foams up much too quickly. I like tooth pastes to be a bit more, um, pastey? I find pastey tothpastes with grainy bits in them the best for cleaning and whitening my teeth. I found I did not have long lasting fresh breath with this product. because of this, I will not continue to use or buy this product and I will not be recommending it to friends or family. I think there are much better products in this price range and I will probably go back to Colgate Advanced Clean. So thanks Primped for allowing me to trial this product and I’m sorry I don’t have a good review for it.

After Using Colgate Max White one for a few weeks i am pleasantly suprised it has actually made my teeth whiter and the best part is that is was super easy all i had to do was brush my teeth with a gel toothpaste and it is soo cheap. Yay i can now ditch my mouthguard that lit up with horrible chalky paste that i had to wear for half an hour and didnt work which cost me a bomb.

After using colgate maxwhite for a few weeks, I have noticed that my teeth are still whiter and brighter, my breath is fresh, and my mouth feels clean overall!
Thank you primped!

After using this bad boy for the past few weeks I can say that my teeth are marginally whiter. However, I find that they are their whitest straight after brushing and so I believe maxwhite one is really good at removing those surface stains. For people who have deep set in stains from smoking, coffee and red wine drinking I don’t think this is the whitening product for you. I will keep using this as a tooth paste though as the formula is lovely and it does a great job at pearly white maintenance.

So, it’s three weeks since I started using Colgate MaxWhite One, and I still think it’s a bit fab. I haven’t gone off the taste, as I sometimes do with toothpastes, and I still enjoy the texture and sensation of the foam it creates. I’ve noticed less “fuzz” building up on the back of my front teeth (my problem area) and my teeth just feel cleaner overall. Have my teeth got any whiter since the first review? Possibly, but it could also be that my surface stains have been lifted and this wonder-paste stops any new stains from forming. I have noticed that my teeth are whitest immediately after using it – it must have some seriously good optical brighteners…this is the toothpaste to use immediately before any big event, like a wedding or school formal.
My teeth are definitely whiter than when I started using it, and that’s enough to keep me using it for the foreseeable future. It’s affordable and reliable and I like it a lot.

Have been using this toothpaste for a couple of weeks now and it is definatly maintaining the initial whitening it created. My teeth where a bit yellow to begin with but I am not a coffee or red wine drinker so they can’t of been too bad, but there is a difference in the colour and it hasnt changed back so I will keep using this toothpaste. Thanks primped for the chance to try it!

· As mentioned in my first review, I naughtily indulge in the consumption of white teeth no-no’s, so I was very eager to see the results I would get from this toothpaste.
· Throughout the month I noticed my teeth change from a light grey tinge and very yellow, to a mild yellow shade, to almost perfectly white.
· I did notice that my teeth were whitest straight after I had brushed my teeth however, I was still really pleased with the whitening effect.
If you are after a cheap, simple and not at all time consuming (I mean we all brush our teeth at least morning and night anyway) way of whitening your teeth, check this out. I know I will be buying it again.

This is an updated review from my last one which I posted after having only used the toothpaste 3 days. I wrote in my last review that using this paste left my gums sore and bleeding and the mintiness was quite strong which burnt but after using it a few more days these symptoms disappeared yay! (it may have just been i was brushing longer and better than before). I still like the strong minty flavour of the toothpaste which leaves my breath superfresh. I did notice after 1-2 weeks my teeth are a bit whiter, though to be fair they weren’t exactly terrible before. They aren’t super white and pearly or anything now but they are a nice white — i guess a white that looks natural. I think this is a great product for the price, definately worth a try at least!

After almost 1 month, I have continued to be impressed by Colgate’s MaxWhite Toothpaste. Not only have my teeth significantly whitened, even though I’m still an addicted tea-drinker, the minty flavor ensures that have fresh breath all day. At first I found that the flavor was a bit too strong, but continued use has found that it becomes easier to tolerate over time. I would definitely recommend this product.

i believe that this toothpaste does whatever any other toothpaste does. it cleans your teeth well leaving a nice fresh mint taste post brushing. but it has one upper hand, that is it helps to remove stains from daily eating. your pearls are definitely whiter after a months trial of this product. to clarify however, your teeth are not completely white like celebrities. i think you can only attain that desired look via forking out and getting them professionally whitened at a dentist.
id recommend this though, as its more a maintenance whitening better than normal toothpaste

I’ve been using this aswell – and while i like it i haven’t noticed a great improvement in the whiteness of my teeth…

I’ve now been using this toothpaste for about a month, and I have to say, I’m a bit disappointed. The first week was so promising, with my teeth noticeably getting whiter. But then it just stopped. I don’t even smoke or drink that much coffee! I’ll probably still keep using it for a while, at least until the tube is empty, to see if I get any more results. I really do like the way this toothpaste makes my teeth feel: really smooth and slippery and clean, but it doesn’t make a huge difference to their appearance.

I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks and although my teeth weren’t yellow to begin with i have seen some improvement. it is a bit grainy and does have a slight baking soda taste, it is covered effectively by the mintiness. i recommend using it with an electric toothbrush so that you can clean your teeth more effectively and get better results

One quick point to add on to my previous reviews: When you get near the end of the tube it gets tricky to actually get the toothpaste out. Regular toothpaste tubes have pretty much perfected the art of packaging that allows you to get every last bit of product, and I think colgate might want to look at putting this toothpaste in a regular toothpaste tube.

Enjoyed using this toothpaste, my teeth always felt super clean after brushing. As for the whiter teeth in only ONE week, I think they are, but my eyes could be deceiving me because I want them to look whiter!
There is a warning that prolonged use could lead to sensitive teeth and this did happen to my partner but not me.

The packaging did stand out from others around it and I really liked the taste of the toothpaste, it wasn’t too strong and left a nice refreshing minty taste in my mouth. After about a week i think the colour of my teeth has slightly improved and so I’m quite happy with those results. I would recommend it.

I really love this toothpaste. I know it’s only toothpaste, but to me cleaning my teeth is very important, along keeping them clean and white. This toothpaste smells good, tastes good and leaves my mouth and gums feeling super clean once I’ve brushed.
I did notice the difference is colour of my teeth too. For less than $10 for a tube I’m definately going to keep buying this one just to maintain the lighter colour of teeth i now show off

This is a new addition to the ever growing “whitening ” group of toothpastes. It was pleasant to use,not overpowering on the taste and left me feeling like i,d had a clean at the dentist,s.It was however,a bit “gritty ” feeling to me,and i,m not keen on that.I did use it as directed, but any change in whiteness was minute as far as i could tell.I may buy it again, and it is good value, but it,doesn,t make me want to yell out about it.

I finished a tube of this toothpaste and can’t say that I have noticed much difference to the whiteness of my teeth (perhaps just slightly whiter). In saying that, I admit I have not been brushing my teeth 3 times a day as recommended (only on the weekend). I find it is a bit impractical especially for those who work full time and don’t have time or convenience to run off to the bathroom for a quick lunchtime brush! I do like the gel-like, slightly runnier consistency of the formula compared to your traditional white toothpaste and it foams up nicely and leaves my teeth/mouth feeling very clean and fresh (more so than my usual toothpaste), so points for that! The scent is fresh and not too overly minty.

One of my favourite whitening toothpastes, main reason being it doesn’t taste like all the other whitening toothpastes on the market.
Max White One actually feels like it’s cleaning your teeth as well on whitening them which is a huge plus for me.
I did notice a difference within a week and would happily buy this toothpaste again

I had my teeth bleached as a 15-year-old, newly liberated of my train-tracks. And, as I don’t drink coffee and I don’t smoke, they’ve remained pretty sparkly over the last decade. But of course I was keen to give them an extra little ivory hit with the Colgate Max One Ice. The product’s packaging is brilliant; a flat-top lid so it can stand on its head easily, with the actual spout contained so there is less risk of toothpaste leakage/consequent sticky dribbling at the top of the tube. The flavour is delish; super minty, without the chalkiness of other whitening products, and it left me with a lovely, cool, fresh-feeling mouth.
But did it do what it was supposed to? Well, no. I was very diligent with the thrice-daily brushing regime; even documenting it with photos! There was a moment of frenzied delight and celebration one morning, a week in, but then I remembered I’d had a spray tan the night before. My teeth weren’t whiter, my face was just browner. All in all, Colgate Max One Ice is yummy and the packaging is well thought out – but since it didn’t whiten my teeth at all, I wouldn’t buy it.
Thank you, Primped, for letting me try it out!

Loved this toothpaste becuase though very effective at whitening my teeth did not feel dry and chalky like most whitening toothpastes do. Love the simple and classy design of the pack. I noticed a visible difference with a week of using the toothpaste. Loved the fresh taste which was not too strong or tooo minty.
