  I absolutely loved this foundation! The first time I applied it, It went on smooth as velvet, and soaked into my skin instantly.
  The end result was flawless! And you can barely tell you’re even wearing any makeup at all! To confirm this, i walked up to my husband and asked him if he could tell i was wearing makeup, he looked hard and said no, by my skin looked nice.
  It definitely adapted to my skin tone perfectly, i was pretty impressed by that. I’d say it lasted about 6-8 hours.
  I’d recommend this to anyone that hates the heavy feel for some thicker foundations.

  I loved using this foundation. The packaging with the blue lid stood out and I really like the jar, I know some people mention the hygiene factor but I figure if you wash your hands before dipping in, it can’t be that bad! It felt like I was just using my normal face cream in the morning, it glided on magnificently. Only problem with this was that I had to make sure I didn’t end up wearing a tonne of of like I normally slather on my moisturiser in winter. It is very easy to use, I used my fingers to apply and it really did just go on like lotion, without a lot of effort (my lazy side was rejoicing!) The product feels so cool and refreshing, and very light, it doesn’t have the heavy feel of some liquid foundations. It did even out my skin tone, and concealed a birthmark I have on my jawline that’s red and blotchy, it made me quite even which is a first for me with foundation. I don’t really think it made my skin feel radiant, but it did make it feel like it was breathing and not trapped beneath a layer of makeup. It did look as though I wasn’t wearing any makeup, which is a plus because I’m not a huge “look at me i’m wearing makeup” person. It did stay put through the day, and through to bed time when it was time to take it off. I give this foundation top marks, and I’m going to keep using it after the trial!

  I was lucky enough to trial this wonderful product, unfortunately though the colour I requested was unavailable so I was sent a different shade, it was a bit too pale for me, so I’ll pass it on to a friend. Other than that, I really loved everything else about it. The texture was really nice, very easy to spread on and a little bit went. Long way! The gel foundation felt really nice on my skin too, not too heavy & cloying. It lasted all day without any fading or cracking, just perfect! I’ll definitely be looking into buying this product in a shade that suits me, thanks again Primped, a lovely product!

  LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT, was so lightweight didnt feel like i was wearing any foundation, smelt amazing which is odd for a foundation. stayed on and stayed the same all day washed off very easily which was nice. First foundation that doesnt look like i am wearing any left my skin looking really good and flawless which was so nice for someone with problem skin, would happily wear this everyday of the week was amazed by how it matched my skin tone instant airbrushing, the only negative for me was it did dry quite quickly so you have to go section by section on your face.

  For reference, my skin tone is normal, tending towards slightly dry during the winter months. In respect to sensation, it provided such a lovely smooth finish, with the luxuriously creamy gel resting comfortably on my skin, without leaving it parched. In this regard therefore, the foundation was virtually unparalleled. I must mention though, that I very rarely wear foundation (read: never), hence the appeal of Rimmel’s light and barely-there claims. It certainly delivered on this front. But please bear in mind that I have no reference point against which to compare.

  I loved the unobtrusive packaging, particularly the additional inner cap/lid, which deposited a good amount on the fingertips without the need to immerse my fingers repeatedly into the container itself. I also liked the scent, which was pleasant and not at all overpowering.

  The only qualm I have with the foundation is the colour offering. Firstly, the limited shades, particularly in the darker spectrum, would undoubtedly prohibit many potential customers from purchasing the product. I believe a recognition of skin colour diversity via a wider selection is advisable, if only to foster inclusivity. In respect to myself personally, I have quite pale skin, and even the lightest shade (Ivory – 100) was far too dark. I would probably characterise my skin as neutral, and the colour was also exceedingly orangey-pink.

  If it weren’t for the colour therefore, and the absence of shade variety, I would most definitely invest in this product.

  Fortunately for me, I was lucky enough to trial this fantastic product. I generally don’t tend to wear anything other than a tinted moisturiser, but after trialling this foundation, I will most definitely keep using it!

  The foundation glided onto my skin with ease and it definitely left my skin feeling fresh and supple and like I wasn’t wearing any foundation at all!
  It has a pleasant scent and adapted to my skin tone extremely well, and the end result was flawless!
  A little bit goes a long way and it lasts all day, but it does however, tend to dry fairly quickly on application.

  Over all, a fantastic foundation that I would recommend to anyone who likes a lightweight foundation and a flawless finish.

  Firstly thanks so much for choosing me to try this foundation. I was very excited when my little package arrived in the mail.

  Did the product glide onto your face easily? Yes. I applied with my foundation brush, and it went on very smoothly.

  Did it feel fresh, supple and lightweight? Yes. I wasnt sure whether I should put powder over the top (I don’t wear foundation very often), so I didn’t, and my face looked fresh, not ‘cakey’ all day. I hate it when your make-up ‘cracks’ in your creases, and this foundation did not do this at all.

  Did it even out your skin tone and cover any annoying imperfections? Definitely. My skin was flawless and I didn’t need any concealer.

  Did it make your skin feel radiant? Yes. I kept looking at myself in the mirror whenever I went in to the bathroom.

  Did it adapt to your skin tone? Yes. The colour was good.

  Did it make you feel like you weren’t wearing any makeup at all? Yes and no. I normally just wear tinted moisturiser, so the feeling was a little different to that. But it didn’t feel heavy.

  Did it stay-put? Yes.

  Overall, I think this is a great product, and I will definitely buy it again when my pot runs out. I may even start wearing foundation more often!

  Wow, it was amazing to trial a product that truly delivered on its promises.
  Opening the parcel I was pleased with the simplicity of the packaging. The product was still attractive and appealing though.
  I couldn’t believe how light the gel was to apply. Immediately my skin felt silky and smooth. It really felt like I wasn’t wearing any foundation so I was surpised to notice what fantastic coverage it provided. Staying power plus, the coverage was the same at the end of the day as it was at the start. I have young children who are constantly touching my face so it was nice to feel like they weren’t removing make up as they were doing it.
  A problem I have found with other foundations with stay put features is that they are hard to apply and blend as they seem to set really quickly, no issues with that for Rimmel Match Perfection Cream Gel though. I had plenty of time to blend and apply an even coverage. During the trial I had a girls night out and am pleased to report that the gel lasted the distance without making me feel like I had my face ‘caked on’.
  Overall, a top product that does as it says it will and the way it adapts to your skin is just awesome! Thanks!

  I have what you would call ” troublesome ” skin that has some acne imperfections ,uneven skin tone and the occasional breakout.

  I was amazed to find that Rimmel Match Perfection Cream Gel Foundation smoothed out these imperfections and gave me a huge confidence boost, I was walking on air !

  The foundation was easy to apply , gliding on without effort which is great because I have minimal time for my beauty routine in the morning.

  The color blended with my skin tone well thus eliminating those unsightly “make-up lines”

  The foundation was so lightweight that I nearly forgot to remove it in the evening.

  Thanks Rimmel and Primped for an awesome product ., I would highly recommend it .

  I don’t normally wear foundation because I don’t like heavy feel and look of the foundation but was very keen to try this foundation as it promises to be light weight and to adapt to the natural color and texture of the skin which is must have for me when I am wearing any foundation.
  The packaging is very nice in a small glass tub with an extra small lid so I don’t have to dip my finger in the actual tub to get the foundation.
  The texture of the foundation is very velvety and smooth and little goes a long way i.e. you don’t need much foundation. Foundation is very easy to apply and it just melted into my skin without looking it too cakey. My face looked flawless. The smell is also not very over powering and it is pleasant which is quite nice for a foundation.
  The staying power of this foundation is great, my skin is oily and it’s really hard for any foundation to stay longer but it stayed on for good 6 hours.
  For me this cream gel foundation is a winner and I am definitely going to repurchase it.

  I was very excited to try this new foundation as I have been using the same one for years and was beginning to think it was time to try something new. For reference, I have rather dry skin, especially around my nose and chin, and often find some foundations leave me looking a little flakey.

  I wasn’t sure of the up-side down packaging at first, but the neat little ‘pot’ fit easily into my make-up bag. The texture was also very different to anything I had ever come across before and was a little sceptical at first, but after a few days and applications, I certainly grew to love it. I also thought the coverage was a little thicker than I would usually go for, but it blended with my skin really nicely and even the drier patches of skin seemed to adapt to the texture quite well. It seemed to stay put all day and didn’t require much of a touch up when I went out one night after work.

  Overall, I would recommend this product and I will certainly continue to use it!

  This product was fantasitc. It was extremly easy to apply and blended so beautifully.
  The product felt very light and it didn’t feel like I had foundation on at all. The redness in my cheeks were very easily hidden with very little effort. Beacuse the foundation was so light I was able to apply a little more in some areas to help hide blemishes without it looking heavy or cakey.
  The foundation seemed to be very long-lasting. Easily lasting a full day of work. It gave my skin a matte look
  My skin has a tendancy to be oily but I never noticed it with this foundation. Very happy and will definately use again.

  Hi Primpers,
  I’m reviewing the Match Perfection Foundation in the shade 01 Ivory.
  When I immediately opened this foundation, I noticed that the color was quite dark, and too dark for my neutral-toned, pale skin. It wasn’t until I applied it on my face that I realized that, true to it’s name, it does in fact match to one’s skin! The color that was at first too dark blended seamlessly into my skin with no unsightly foundation lines to be seen.
  This foundation is different from one I’ve ever used- it’s gel formula bears many similarities to a tinted moisturizer. However, unlike a tinted moisturizer, this foundation has great coverage, and doesn’t slide around on my face like some tinted moisturizers tend to do by the end of the day.
  I would recommend this product to anyone who likes to feel like they aren’t wearing any makeup, but still wants their skin to look flawless and radiant. This is my new (almost) tinted moisturizer!

  Thanks for the opportunity to be part of this review. I tried the Ivory shade.
  When I first received the foundation I was surprised at the foundation being darker than Ivory shade that I am used to.

  But once applied to my face it blended beautifully.
  It spead easily onto my skin and felt very light all day.
  In fact it didn’t feel like I was wearing foundation at all.
  It perfectly covered my spots and my skin felt great all day.

  I wouldn’t say my skin felt radiant but definitely looked looked and felt great and lasted all day.

  I will buy this product in the future and will recommend to family and friends.

  I really did love this foundation, that is saying something because I I’m not a huge fan of foundation as I think most of the time all you really need is a tinted moisturizer. Foundation can look thick and grungy, like a mask covering nice skin underneath and clogging pores but Rimmel London Perfection Match Gel Cream Foundation is different.
  I was a little worried when I received mine as it looked like it may be a bit dark for me but to my delight it was perfect! The advertising is correct it does adapt to your natural skin tone.
  It looks creamy and thick but when you put it on it actually feels refreshing while having good coverage as well. It feels lightweight and when you tough your face it doesn’t even feel like your wearing anything but powder.
  I wore it in humidity and cold weather and it was long lasting and felt great, no melting or greasy feeling. Also took photos wearing it and can honestly say there was no white mask or obvious foundation look and blended well!
  Would highly recommend this foundation if you are going to wear one.

  Unfortunately there are only 4 shades – so the colour I selected was a pretty bad match. In saying that though, I simply mix it with some moisturiser and I have a new tinted moisturiser, it’s great! It did glide on and I loved the texture, I just wish the colour selection was better!

  This is an excellent product. Mine arrived while I was overseas so I first tried it after a very long flight on my tired, jet lagged skin, with brilliant results. It covered those pesky dark under eye circles, while making my skin look fresh. I was really impressed! It stays on for ages, and left my skin feeling lovely.

  On my skin it was almost invisible, I just looked like a better version of me! Excellent coverage without being too thick or powdery.

  The packaging is clean and simple. I’m not a big fan of sticking my finger into foundations, however I do like knowing that I’ve used every single bit up, especially with a product I like as much as this.

  I’m a fan and will be purchasing it. Highly recommended.

  I was unlucky in receiving this product but after a long read of all your wonderful reviews I went straight to my local priceline and popped this in my shopping bag!

  I have been using it for a couple of days now and I must say it is pretty amazing. Before I was using clinique anti blemish solutions which I love too. I had to try this before finishing the bottle :s

  It slides on really nicely and creates and even base with quite a full coverage. I was surprised how a little went a long way and how quickly it blended into my skin to suit my natural colour! I did not use any primers beforehand either, just my moisturiser.

  I think the only problem is that I am developing small breakouts but am not entirely sure they are caused by the foundation (yes I have been naughty and sinned in the world of beauty no no’s).

  Will definitely keep using this product and would love to recommend to anyone in need of a new foundation.

  This product was light to the touch and blended quickly and easily, it was non greasy and met all my expectations. I have tried more expensive products in the category and am pleased to report that this p[roduct performed better than many of these more expensive variants (Channel, Clinique).
