Nair Salon Divine Precision Facial Wax Kit
VIP Review Club

Some people love visiting the salon for a wax; some people love removing hair at home. For those who sit in the latter camp, you’ll know all too well that sometimes those larger strips (designed for your legs and arms) just don’t cut it when it comes to the smaller areas. Not only do you need something that allows for precise application, but a wax formula that is gentle on the skin.
That’s where Nair’s new Salon Divine Precision Facial Wax Kit comes in.
It’s specifically designed for the sensitive areas on the face, and also comes in the form on a roll-on applicator. This makes it easy to apply to smaller areas on your face such as the brows and upper lip as the product rolls and glides easily along the facial contours. Awesome, huh?
Well, it sounds absolutely brilliant, Primps, but we want to know if our VIPs think so, too. They’ve been using this hair removal kit for a few weeks and now we want them to answer these questions below:
Did this product remove your facial hair effectively?
Was it easy to use?
Was it kind to your skin?
Would you use it again?
Would you recommend it to your friends?
Was it better than other facial waxes you’ve tried in the past?
How long did the product last?
Can you please also tell us whether you used the product on your brows or upper lip? Thank you. It’s important for us to know this.
Oh, and if there’s anything else our VIPs feel like adding, please do, because we love hearing what you think.
So, don’t hold back any longer. Now is the time to tell us what you thought…
(Important little end note: If your comment doesn’t appear immediately, don’t fret. It’s just flying around in Internet Land for a wee moment, having a grand old time. It’ll be up in 24 hours or so, we promise.)

My trial experience of the Nair Salon Divine Precision Facial Wax Kit
The Nair Salon Divine Precision Facial Wax Kit is a great kit for those who are in need of a quick fix with their eye brows and upper lip hairs! I trialed this product on myself and 5 other friends and we all thought that the Nair Salon Divine Precision Facial Wax Kit was extrekmely easy to use and it removed all hairs long and short painlessly and quickly.
The Nair Salon Divine Precision Facial Wax Kit is extremely easy to use as all you have to do is pop the wax into hot water for about 2 min and then twist the lid off put the roll on applicator on and roll warm wax onto desired area and then stick the strip on smoothing it out and then wax to the opposite direction in which the hair grows!! 3/5 friends did experience minor redness on waxed areas but that went away as soon as vaseline and some soothing creams were put on it so I would say that this product is ideal for sensitive skin as well!
I think the Nair Salon Divine Precision Facial Wax Kit is defitenly a cheaper and friendlier alternative then the salon! I would defintely repurcahse and re use this product. Previously I have used “ready to go” wax strips for my upper lip and brows but it is just not as convenient as I had to cut my ideal shape out
There is no odd smell most importantly its safe for my sensitive skin!
Being used 5 times. I have not even used half the bottle of wax yet! The strips are defintely re usable so I would say the strips would last for a couple of months no problem!

The first thing I saw when I open the packaging was the roll on applicator. My flatmates will attest to this, I literally went, “oh awesome!”
The packaging is pretty, very feminine. I liked being able to see the product without opening the box. The instructions on the back were easy to read and follow. Everything I needed was provided.
I much preferred heating the wax in warm water, it gives you more control as apposed to microwave heating, which can overheat and burn your skin. The texture is gooey, but no sticky or glugy. It rolled on smooth without any dramas. The roll on applicator gives you complete control of where you’re applying. Super easy.
Having heated the wax in warm water there was no risk of burning my skin. After use my skin was red for only about 10 minutes and I could wipe off the residue with lukewarm water, no mess! Plus there’s no funky wax smell.
The main advantage is defiantly the roll on applicator. It gives you complete control when targeting smaller areas, perfect for precision sculptured eyebrows.

Firstly I’d like to thank PRIMPED for the opportunity to test this fantastic product on my eyebrows.
The packaging was appealing and self explanatory – what an easy and effective product!
I loved the ease of applying the wax via the roll on applicator. I loved how any wax residue was easily removed (unlike others I’ve tried), and there was no waxy smell either. I had no issues with skin reactions.
Once it runs out I would definitely buy this again

I’ve been waxing at home for a long time now, to date I’ve only ever used pre-waxed strips for my brows/upper lip and between salon underarm waxing.
So I followed the heating directions, and to start with I really liked that you only had to place the tube in a cup of hot water for a few minutes instead of the microwave.
I felt like I had a lot more control over the heating process.
To start with I used it get rid of some stray underarm hairs that haven’t grown back in-between proper salon waxing. I used the roller head to apply the wax and it worked brilliant!
I’d say compared to pre waxed strips, they go par on par for efficacy. I did use quite a lot though, so I’m not sure that little tube would last very long.
Next I applied the wax to my brows with the provided applicator, in the middle of my brows it worked brilliant again, but on the softer parts under of my brow line I had a little troubles getting it to stick.
The last part was the upper lip. Now I’ve got a very sensitive upper lip, it can’t withstand more than one rip of a wax strip before it starts to get very inflamed. So to begin with I didn’t have much expectations for the trail wax. I applied it to one side of the upper lip (and there was enough hair there to warrant a wax) and glided onto the surface fairly easy. But once I tried to pull the first strip, all that come off was the wax and no hair, and my lip was already starting to get majorly red, so I wasn’t keen enough to attempt a second go.
All in all, I would definitely use it again for the stray underarm hairs, but for sensitive areas like my upper lip I think I’ll just stick to the pre waxed strips, cause they have always worked really well for me to date.

Thanks Primped for letting me try this product
I loved the packaging. For some reason it seemed kind of vintage to me and I loved the pink/green colour scheme.
This product seems innovative- I’ve never seen a home wax product which came with a roller. It allowed the wax to be applied exactly where I wanted it to go, thus it was easy to use. I really liked the fact that the wax was heated in a glass of water. It allowed you to get the perfect temperature and if it wasn’t hot enough it could be put back in the glass very easily. I applied it to my eyebrows and the hair came off very easily. I was able to wash off left over wax with water, without scrubbing. I’ve used another facial wax kit, I think another one by nair, and like this one better. Mostly due to the roller-ball. I’d recommend it to my friends. I would buy it again

Fantastic product, so easy to use and very gentle on my skin. Up until recently I visited the salon for all my waxing. For the last six months I have been trying most of the DIY waxing products without much joy. This product really was so easy to use. I waxed both my top lip and my eyebrows. The applicator took all the nervousness out of the equation, especially when it came to the eyebrows after a recent near miss with another product.
Would definitaly use again!

Im an at home waxer when it comes to doing my eyebrows. Two weeks before my wedding I went to get my eyebrows waxed for the first time and it was a disaster. Since then I only trust myself to shape my brows.
The Nair Precision Facial Wax Kit comes in a cute little box with the its reputable name and colour on the box so it would be easy to spot on the shelf. Im all for being green so maybe the packaging could be a little smaller considering how much space was in the box.
After reading the instructions I was surprised you had to warm up the wax as Im used to Nads and there is no warming up involved so I thought that was a little inconvenient, so out of the bathroom and into the kitchen to heat up the waax in a glass of hot water. Once applied with the roller it went on really easy without any stringing off and falling on to my cheek! I love the roller its so easy and more controlling on where you put the wax on. After a couple of minutes I ripped off the strip and presto all hairs long and short gone, it was painless and I didnt have to go at it a second time.
I was quite impressed at the ease and it makes heating it up at the start nothing to bother about as the results were great. On the weekend I did my brows again and also my sisters as we were going to an engagement and in half an hour the redness disappeared and no evidence of waxing was apparent, usually Im red for several hours maybe due to waxing the same area several times to pick up stubborn hairs using an alternative product. I think Nair is perfect for sensitive skin as I did not experience any irritation what so ever. A definite thumbs up.
Since Ive used it twice and my sister once, the fluid has barely moved, I believe I could get at least another 20-24 applications out of it.
So if I spot this item in Priceline, it will definitely be on my permanent beauty stable list.

I used the product to wax my upper lip.
Packaging: Very professional and streamlined, and I appreciated the fact that the applicator wasn’t obscured by the packaging and clearly visible.
Ease of use and efficacy: I adored the applicator tip, and the ease with which the wax was dispensed. The tip truly does enable precise application. Having utilised Veet ready-made wax strips for years now, I was a little reticent to test this product, particularly considering my skin’s sensitivity, and the fact that a single application is all my skin can take before sensitivity overwhelmes the area. In any event, I used the product on two separate occasions and achieved the same result. I found that the wax failed to remove the majority of my upper lip hair, with a few sparse patches of hair remaining.
Skin sensitivity: As mentioned, my skin is ultra sensitive. Upon application, I found that the wax alone thankfully failed to irritate my skin. Upon waxing though, my upper lip was extremely red and tingly. Truth be told though, my skin usually smarts with my sensitivity coming to the fore even when waxing with my usual ready-made strips.
Overall: Given my skin’s sensitivity, and the danger associated with waxing over the same area twice, I can only really afford to use a product which removes all hair (or the vast majority at the very least) in one swipe. This product unfortunately wasn’t successful in that regard, thus I will remain loyal to my ready-made strips. In the instance of sensitivity not being an issue though, you may well be well-suited to this product. In respect to initial presentation and ease of application, I was particularly impressed.

I LOVED this. The easy to use roller was effective at those little spots where only a small amount had to be waxed.
I love the reusable strips and how easily the residue came off. There were no nasty red blotches afterwards and it was really easy to use.
I love that i can now carry the small convenient tube in my bag for those moments im caught out before a work meeting or dinner date.
I used it on both my eyebrows and upper lip with pretty good results, not perfect, but not far off either

Firstly, thanks heaps to Nair and Primped for letting me try this out! I was in the market for a similar product, so trying this out was handy !
Did this product remove your facial hair effectively?
I love the little squeezy design and added roll-on, they really make it effective in applying. Unfortunately, it didn’t grip all the hairs for me on my chin and left a sticky residue
Was it easy to use?
It was amazingly easy to use. If you’re careful, the whole boiling water process makes it a cinch to use, and the oack is so portable.
Was it kind to your skin?
I did get a little itchy under then chin for a minute or two, but the wax was generally compatible with my skin and disappeared after a few minutes
Would you use it again?
I think that for, the most part, it’s a pretty good product and to remove most hairs and for its easy-to-use and portability factor, I would, but not at the RRP. Five dollars less and I’d say so.
Would you recommend it to your friends?
For chin waxing, id certainly recommend. Id even urge them to have a go doing their brows with it, as its way cheaper than getting it professionally done.
Was it better than other facial waxes you’ve tried in the past?
I’d never tried any facial waxes in the past, im afraid, but ive waxed other areas and would say that the paraben and fragrance free formula is a great start.
How long did the product last?
I still have some left, but I’ll let you know when it runs out. I cant imagine it diminishing much, as you only need a tiny bit and the roller really cintrols for precision and prevents wasteage.

I used this product for my upper lip – as I was too scared to do my brows myself – I don’t even pluck my strays (chicken!)
I normally get my lip waxed professionally, but I find that sometimes I get caught out between waxes. One day I will put on my foundation and pow -my mo is back. This is why I found this product so fabulous. In this situation I would freak – fill a mug full of hot water from the kettle, wash my upper lip of moisturiser and foundation for the requisite 3 minutes, roll on the wax, smooth on the strip, rriiiiip and mo gone. That easy, seriously. I have found other home wax kits messy and mostly very sticky. This was so easy, not messy in the slightest and washes away so easily with warm water and a little cetaphil. No sweat. No odour, no irritation and even better NO REDNESS! And such a small tube will be fantastic for travelling. This item is in my desert island kit from now on. Thanks so much for the chance to review Primped!

This product is seriously cute! The tube looks like a lip gloss tube. I love how gimmicky and creative the product is. The roller makes everything more precise so waxing the eyebrows was an easy process. I tired using it on my upper lips but for some reason not all the hair came off.
It was better than the plastic wax strips i used before, the kind where you warm the strip between your hands.I would def. recommend this to my friends as it was gentle on my skin and easy to use. The product would def. last quite a while so it’s great value for money.

This is the first time I have used waxing to remove my facial hairs. But I am really glad that I have used Nair’s facial wand as it is not at all painful.
The packaging is very cute as all the components of the product were organised in separate compartments which is quite good. Facial wand does require little bit patience to use if you are using it for the first time. It can also turn little bit messier if you are not following all the instructions properly.
If you follow all the instructions then it is very easy to use. It removed my facial hairs properly but only those hair were removed that were soft and thin, it couldn’t remove the hairs that were little bit hard like few hairs on my chin. Hair took around two weeks to regrow which is quite good as I don’t have to do it again and again.
Overall I am impressed with this product and will definitely use this again because of the convenience it provided me.
Thanks a lot Primped for giving me the opportunity to try this product.

My first impressions was that this product should be easy and conveniant to use on my eyebrows. Having not had much success with at Home waxes in the past I was hoping that this product would work for me.
Firstly I tried heating it up in hot water but this was not hot enough to work then I tried it out leaving it in boiling water for the recommended time then when that wouldn’t work I tried for longer. The wax felt hot on my skin but no matter what I did I could not get more than one hair to budge from my eyebrow. I’m not sure if this is caused by a lack of technique on my part or if the product just doesn’t want to work on my hair. Either way I eventually gave up and just went back to plucking.
So for me I did not find it easy to use despite the detailed instructions and I would not buy it again unless when I try it again it actually works. It looks like it would last a long time though if you were succesfull in hair removal as you don’t need to much out of the tube and the applicator is quite easy to use.

When i first rcieved the Nair Salon Divine Precision Facial Wax Kit i thought what a great idea a handy little tube with roller applicator thats new and a fantastic idea, no mess easy to apply. The packaging has a clear window so yu instantly see how your going to use the product, love that the wax is pink and has no scent. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, the applicator is easy to use but sadly for me the wax had not alot of hold on the hair and left a sticky residue on the skin which was water rinseable and easily washed of like advertised on the product. I did several times at different temps, followed the instuctions to a tea but it just was not effective for me though if Nair could make the hold of the wax stronger i would try this again as i love the idea of the product but would not purchase the product or recommend it as is.

This was exactly what I needed! As I am a waxer on just about every part of my body I have had some not so pleasant experiences with a range of different waxes so when I saw that this was actually designed especially for those small, sensitive areas I just thought finally someone has thought this through!
I absolutely love the roll on applicator. It glides the wax on beautifully and is the perfect size for my out of control eyebrows! The definition spatula was a handy extra as well to easily clean up any stray hairs out of the way that I didn’t want waxed!
I have used other Nair products before so I am glad that their formula of wax so easily rinses off with water and doesn’t leave your skin feeling all sticky!
I’ll admit waxing my eyebrows did hurt a little bit. I usually just pluck them, but I let them grow wild so I could wax them for this review and I think this is the way I am going to keep going because it didn’t miss a single little hair and took a lot less time than plucking usually does.
I love the little reusable strips that came in the pack as well. The fact that I can just rinse them and let them dry to reuse and not have to fork out cash to buy replacement is right up my ally. I think that it is also better for the environment so everybody wins!
Thanks for giving my this opportunity Primped! It was great fun!

Excess facial hair is the bane of my existence, I generally tend to be a plucker. I’ve always found wax to messy and painful!
I was delighted to trial the Nair Precision Facial Wax Kit. The packaging was well thought out, informative but still attractive and great to see what you are actually getting. I never really go much on those dodgy pictures you sometimes find of package contents.
I loved the concept of being able to wax small and delicate areas with precision. Unfortunately for me, the reality wasn’t as impressive. Maybe it was due to my inexperience, I don’t know, as I passed the kit around to a few people and they had mixed results. I excitedly heated the wax in a cup, applied it and used a strip. The only problem was that it didn’t pull any hairs out. I retried several times with limited success. Eventually I gave up and plucked out a couple of the thickest/darkest offenders. I was on my way to a party so applied some make up almost straight away, maybe that was a factor, or maybe not, but the corners of my top lip were red for hours.
I played around with it again a few days later when I had more time and had better success when I varied the temperature a bit, i think I didn’t warm it up enough the first time. I also think I was a bit heavy handed when i applied it, which pretty much rendered some strips ineffective.
I tested it out on a couple of stray eyebrow hairs and had a reasonable success rate.
I think I will persevere with my testing in the hopes of being able to master it to get the results I would expect.
I would probably buy it again and I would certainly suggest it to friends to try. I certainly found it more pleasant to use than other brand products that I have tried in the past. It was easy to clean up and had no nasty odours or sticky residues left behind.
Very happy to have been given the chance to trial this product. All in all it is a good idea/product but for people with limited experience I would maybe suggest not to try it for an important occasion and maybe have some back up tweezers on hand.

I like the look of this product; I think that is why I tried it! I did not seem to get very good results, first I tried it on my eye brows my hair is very fine but it did not seem to remove any of the hair, I then thought I would try it on my lip but again not much success with still most of my hair being left behind, I also found it took me allot longer because of how big the roller head was I was unable to get a very clean shape, I also found after a little while the wax was the leaking out the side of the roller head and was quite messy so I am glad it is water soluble. Over all I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I used Nair’s facial wand to do my eyebrows. I’ve tried a few other facial wands on the market and I’m less than impressed with Nair’s offering. Firstly I had to fiddle around with preparation, where other products you just apply directly and I found the applicator was larger and quite difficult to control by comparison. I don’t think I’ll be recommending this product when there are much better options out there that give a better result.
Posted by: shakethatbeauty Enthusiast // Mon, 4 April 2011 05:36pm
Not a fan of this product. I dont know how the other girls used it on their brows becuase i found the rollar way too big! I like the size for waxing my lip but the formula smelt a bit like glue and it didnt get out the shorter/finer hairs. Also I had to use talc beforehand as wax kept slipping off my skin…

I recently purchased this product on recommendation of VIP Reviews and had high hopes…although found that it took quite a few attempts to remove both the wax and any hairs. I tried again a few weeks later, wondering if I had not heated the wax enough, however had the same problem again. I did not irritate my skin which was a plus, bu I think I’ll leave this job up to the professionals.

Unfortunately I wasn’t a VIP reviewer, but bought this using moulah out of my own pocket! Reading all the reviews, it seemed like this was the product for me! I’d been growing out my brows, inspired by the tips of Lien, and didn’t want to return to my previous brow stylist for fear of her undoing all my manky months of regrowth. I scurried off to Priceline immediately to purchase the wax, which was on sale for $13.99. I was so excited to finally transform my Oscar the Grouch brows. I followed the instructions perfectly. First, the applicator was the dodgiest thing ever. Wax oozed out onto my fingers and big strings of it hung down my face when I removed it, plus it just sploshed wax anywhere, it was too big to be precise enough for brows. My hopes were fading, but I perserved, slapping the strips on and then ripping them off. I was left with ALL THE HAIRS and the MAJORITY OF THE WAX still on my face. The only positive thing I could say about this traumatic and disappointing experience is that it washed off easily. I was left defeated, with a red, hairy brow. Heartbreaking.

eeek sorry for my super late review!! Everyone seems to love this product. hmm… honestly i dont think its great. i wont go through everything that was wrong with it, but it didnt really pull any hair away.. maybe half of what it should have.. and i dont even know how that was possible! if the wax was sticking on top of the hairs- why would some come off and some not? im guessing its not great quality wax, coz i followed the prep directions 100%. anyways- i dont recommend this. i wont be buying again – would rather just get them done well at a brow bar..

also the wax roller itself was really uneven on mine – no wax would be coming out, then all of a sudden a big glob would come out – wasnt great.
