Video: Emma Watson’s ad for LancômeTrésor Midnight Rose

Thu, 28 July 2011 2:30PM

Earlier this week I found myself besotted by Diane Kruger in the behind the scenes video of her L’Oreal Paris ad.

Today, however, I’m smitten with Emma Watson. Take a snoop at this video for her up and coming ad for Lancôme Trésor Midnight Rose and you’re likely to see why.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_fzJ_Z0G00&feature=player_embedded

AFTER WATCHING THIS VIDEO, I FIND MYSELF LOVING EMMA WATSON’S…

…BROWS. They are bold and groomed to perfection, making them utterly magnificent.

…SKIN. It is immaculate. Clear. Glowing. Divine.

…PIXIE CROP. It is funky yet chic at the same time. It gives her ultra-girlie face a touch of edginess.

…VOICE. It is positively polished and oh-so-beautiful to listen to.

Primps,

What do you love about Emma Watson after watching this video?
Do you think she suits her role as the face of Trésor Midnight Rose?
Do you enjoy watching these kinds of videos?

I’m actually not overwhelmingly compelled to buy a product just because it’s being fronted by a celebrity, but this was quite nice, and I do like Emma Watson.

She really comes across as a very down to earth and lovely person.

I wouldn’t necessarily run out and buy the perfume but it was entertaining watching nevertheless!

I am not likely to buy a product because of celebs either. I base my purchase on whether the product is effective or not.

she’s pretty adorable. i’d definately be interested to see what it smells like, but it sounds pretty cute.
i think her hair is awesome, and if she hadnt cut it she would have been stuck as hermione granger forever.
she seems very down to earth and so stylish.
    interesting video to watch :)

There’s something so adorable about Emma, perhaps it’s the fact that we’ve seen her grow up into a gorgeous young woman over the years. She’s just so naturally cute!
I agree with Coconal though, regardless of whose face is used in a campaign, I buy a product for the product, not the face promoting it.

I’d love to try this product because Lancome is one of my favorite brands))

I like that she has remained a good role model for all the young HP fans. No stumbling out of clubs/sex tapes/drug scandals.

    And she has flawless skin!

Emma looks great in the video. She does have a really lovely speaking voice; it’s nice to hear.
I’m not big on the celebrity endorsement, but I still think she looks great.

She’s so pretty and well spoken. I’m more interested in the fragrance – I adore Tresor in Love so can’t wait to try this one.

I think Emma has such a great face and that haircut really works for her. I particularly liked the shots of her wearing the hat. She still sounds like a little girl to me though.

I couldn’t tell you the first thing about Harry Potter but I have always adirmed and liked Emma. I wish there were more girls like her and Natalie Portman out there. She seems like a great role model and she so naturally, modestly stunning!

Lol, celeb endorsements are not for me :) and I can’t really be bothered watching the video now,…maybe later…

Emma Watson has grown into a good looking confident young lady. She has beautiful skin and features. Her brows are a bit strong as they take attention away from her eyes. She continues to be well spoken and presents so confidently. I think she is excellent as the new face of Lancôme Trésor Midnight Rose.

I think it will be a very successful campaign. Emma seems so authentic and I think young girls will be captivated by her. The perfume seems intriguing; I love the bottle.

I always think of Tresor as a slightly older style of perfume -its great to see Emma take it on!

her eyebrows are wickedly shaped to perfection, love them!

Still can’t believe its the same girl from Harry Potter, beautiful facial features.
I had the original Tresor which brings back memories of that time in your life.

I love how Emma Watson seems to have grown into herself over the last few years – does that make sense?

  • Posted by: tinamiller Enthusiast // Fri, 29 July 2011 10:21pm

I have to confess Emma Watson is one of the last people I would think to link with Lancome. It might be because Lancome products were used by my step-mother that I still tend to think of this brand as being for more mature people (one of which I now am!). I tend to see Lancome as a more classic style of company and see Emma as actually being to young to use these products. Strange how we make these associations isn’t it?
