How to: Autumn Beauty Special 2013 … The Post-Summer Beauty Rehab
Wed, 6 March 2013 2:57PM
Ah, summer. It was good while it lasted. Just like a night out on the margaritas. But then there’s the morning after. Or, season after. And suddenly you seem to be paying for your past. While we can’t do anything about those photos taken late Saturday night (or is that just us?), we most definitely can… more

Is Skincare Better than Cosmetic Surgery? ECB Argues for the Affirmative.
Thu, 18 October 2012 4:46PM
Are you jaded about what’s in those jars? Apparently many of you are superseding skincare to try your luck at the cosmetic clinic. How do I know? Olay told me so. Recently they conducted Australia’s biggest ever beauty poll, posing the question ‘Do you believe beauty companies are more interested in selling products than understanding what… more

What I Know About … Acne Scars
Sun, 29 July 2012 12:28PM
For the majority of my teen years, I was relatively acne-free. Once I turned 18, I thought I’d managed to avoid the whole pimply business. Hooray! Then, at around 21, it began. Joy. And it wasn’t just a spot here and there. I’m talking angry, red acne that would cause well-meaning strangers to give me advice… more

The beauty diary of a bride-to-be.
Mon, 23 January 2012 3:41PM
All this wedding speak in Hollywood of late recently got me thinking…I’ve been engaged for almost seven months, and despite the fact that we still haven’t officially locked in a venue or a date, the one thing I have got my act together on is getting my beauty prep in order. Despite the fact that I’m… more

The at-home peel kit you need in your life, like, now.
Wed, 17 August 2011 10:11AM
So, I’ve always been intrigued by peels. A few years back I tried the Bluberry Jessner Peel and it worked wonders for my blemish-prone skin, but the biggest problem I had with the process was trying to free up the time to get in to the salon. Which brings me to this little kit of fabulousness…. more

Kylie’s face needs addressing. Immediately.
Wed, 11 February 2009 2:49PM
I know, I know, first Paris, now Kylie – just one easy target after another. But seriously, how can I not comment on Kylie Minogue’s face when she insists on making it look this way? How can I refrain in my capacity as the editor of PRIMPED from pointing out what exactly she has done,… more

Chemical-free: Sometimes it’s the way to glow
Tue, 26 August 2008 6:49PM
Enzymes are derived from fruit-like green papaya and kiwi fruit and amazingly, offer similar results to those hardcore AHA type peels we all love. (Just minus the irritation that can occur on more sensitive skins.) Clever little things, these enzymes act like “Pac Men” and digest any debris such as dead proteins, dead skin cells or… more
